I am trying to pay fees $1040 online but the payment is not going through. I don't have a credit card, I have a VISA debit card only. The error is "DECLINED * CARD USE LIMITED =DECLINED*CARD USE LIMITED". I have talked to my bank, they say that you will not be able to pay immigration Canada with VISA debit, as immigration Canada has not updated their system. They say that the following note means, payment will not go through. "Note: The debit card must be enabled for the Online Interact Program only. If combined with another debit program, it will not work as a debit card (i.e. Visa Debit or MasterCard Debit)."

Any suggestions to make payment with VISA debit?

I had the same issue debit visa card is not acceptable to CIC; only credit cards are acceptable mode for online transaction. So I ordered my expired credit card and then I was able to pay the fees through online transactions.

Yeah I'm resident and got Visa from UAE. If you are in Dubai just send your passport by VFS which is in Wafi Mall Dubai. It's the secured and most preferred method. If you live in Abu Dhabi you can drop your passport in Embassy personally. They are open to public only on Monday and Wednesday from 9:30 am 11 am.

In VFS they will charge you 160 passport transmission fee. They will return your passport witj in 10 to 14 days.

they asked for Urdu nikah nama with translation on oct 14. oct 19 they received it. oct 31 a decision was made

anyone submitted passport to islambad embassy in the last week of October ??
I submitted mine on 22 October . There were three holidays of muharram and then my passport was forwarded to embassy on 26 Oct. no news yet

We submitted ours on Nov 2 and it was forwarded to CIC on Nov 3. We haven't heard anything yet.

LVO requested for 4 new photos (I guess old photos size was not accurate) on Oct 30, 2015 and we sent them requested photos on Nov 02, 2015.

Do I have to email LVO to inform them that we mailed the photos? I will appreciate if someone can answer this.

Our re-medical was submitted on 8th Nov to the Dehli office (can someone update the spreadsheet).
We only did the tests that were requested:
- Chest Xray (JPEG)
- Page 5 and 6 of IMM5419 (in PDF)
- Completed Re-assessment Form (in PDF)

As my wife was in Michigan we got it done through a Panel physician in Michigan, he wasn't too familiar with sending documents via email. Is there a way to confirm that Dehli & London got it via email ?

When did your wife have her first upfront medical done? I see you filed your application just in May-15 was the upfront medical done way too earlier? trying to understand why would they ask for re-med in such case if its not expiring...

When did your wife have her first upfront medical done? I see you filed your application just in May-15 was the upfront medical done way too earlier? trying to understand why would they ask for re-med in such case if its not expiring...

We got the upfront done in Dec 2014, for a student visa application. IOM did not allow us to redo the medical for the sponsorship application in May, till the first one expired.

You have to add and get a new COPR before you land, or else you won't be able to sponsor your spouse later, and if you land without informing the CIC then its called misrepresentation.

Spreadsheet updated. You can send an email to London saying you have mailed the photos, but do not expect a response. You may hear back from them but most likely you will not.
