Please pay a little more and have peace of mind, Avoid flying via US to save your self from hassle, They may stop you in UAE and if not at the US Airport. By now there are hundreds of such incidents that people have missed flights because of this. In your case you only have 2 hour transit which puts you even more at risk. buy ticket via eurpe or Toronto. There is direct Etihad to Toronto and Emirates too.

Better to be safe then sorry.

Does any1 know what document vfs give you when you submit your passport at thier location. My wife got only 1 paper that has information similar to landing paper but there seems to be no reciept or reference number. There is only document number that is different the other number such as file number and uci. Are we suppose to get something else from them? Been 5 months since pp submission.

Man what happened to London visa office this week. They are really slow. I hope next week when liberal takes over it is faster. Reuniting families was one of their top priorities. Please allah give everybody their visa fast (ameen)

seems like the LVO people are taking a sigh of relief after watching Harper go.. Waiting for new immigration minister to get in office to make them work again..

Yeah i sent passport to Abu Dhabi throw VFS dubai. they mention in PPR that i need to send my passport to Abu Dhabi VO as i'm resident on dubai since 2008.

I do not think that Bureaucrats stops doing thr work & Polices does not change much.

1. Yes . I Just mentioned we met on matrimony site. Didn't even write the name of site.

2. Didn't provide any detail about site. you can write the name of site. I didn't send any messages from site or payment proof.

3. If you have any proof send it other wise no issue. I didn't send any proof for matrimony site.

4. I wrotet yes and put the expiry date of may resident visa. When I renew visa again I sent them case specific inquiry to update the info about renewal of my visa.

Let me check , I might forward you the forms which I sent to CiC. Good luck

-Additional photographs of your wedding ceremony, showing the Rukhsati. If the Rukshati has not taken place, an explanation as to why.

-Evidence of your continued communication since before and after your wedding took place, this can include skype/telephone and email records.

-Details of any visits you have made to each other since submission of your application, including supporting documentary evidence/photographs.
