We have almost same timeline. Latest update which I have about my case is that file is under "Background Check". Don't know how much time they need to complete background check. Don't be fed up. Keep your hopes alive and keep praying.

Thanks . I hope we receive PPR soon. We have a daughter as well MashALLAH. Her birthday is coming next month and she will be turning two InshALLAH. I was hoping my husband to arrive in Canada in November. Its been so long since background check. I even sent an email to london office and all they said was the application is in final stages.
Anyways we can all wait thats it.
InshALLAH ALLAH will make better for all of us

Did you check "spam / junk" folder ? Sometimes the email goes in junk automatically.

This is certainly longer than their average processing time for Mississauga. If you do not receive anything, I suggest you call them.

No one knows that how much time they will take in background check. 5 months are more than enough and I think it should be completed now in a positive way

Normally it takes 1 week! Just wait 1 to 3 weeks you will get ppr soon in sha allah
