If someone does not want to help, it's his personal choice. But at least we should not discourage questions.
After 4 years one can apply for a Citizenship (passport)
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/become-eligibility.asp
Time you have lived in Canada
You must have been physically present in Canada as a permanent resident for at least 1,460 days during the six years immediately before the date of your application. You must also be physically present for at least 183 days during each of four calendar years that are fully or partially within the six years immediately before the date of application. These requirements do not apply to children under 18.

Exceptions to these requirements apply for certain Crown servants and certain family members of Crown servants.

When calculating time you have lived in Canada, you can only count time spent after you became a permanent resident of Canada.

Use our online tool to find out if you have lived in Canada long enough to apply to become a citizen.

There is something called "Humour" in this world, brother. Take it as a joke please. People who don't answer, do not have enough information to !!
At least some fun/wit helps us to forget our frustration.

May I suggest to all those who are yet to pay RPRFee (either upfront or otherwise) to pay it at earliest. This will save you some waiting time.

Hi can u pls share any link where all the fees for spouse visa application is mentioned.

I have usually seen ppl talking about $75+475+490 but i just saw on cic which m pasting below:

Spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner of the principal applicant, or where a transitional provision applies, a family member of the principal applicant who is 22 years of age or older $550

Is this need to be paid too??

getting originals back is a positive sign inshallah! You'll get DM soon. I suppose your case must be in background checks. You can send them a case specific enquiry to ask for whats going on...

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

hi guys,
I am almost done completing my wife's application and noticed that we don't have her SSC and HSSC(FSC) certificates. We however do have her post secondary transcripts (undergrad and graduate studies). Are the SSC and HSSC certificates absolutely necessary with the spousal application?
Thank you

In case of spouse sponsorship, your spouse is the principal applicant. So it 475 for principal applicant+75 for sponsor+150 times the number of children below the age of 19 years+490 as RPRFee for principal applicant only.

I guess the next step will be DM and at this time not sure how much time it will take but I pray to Allah that every one gets their DM and PPR soon so they can be united with their love ones. Ameen

Now the elections are over and it looks like new government is coming and whenever new government comes they have their own rules and procedures so i am guessing that Visa Office across the globe will get slower and wait for the new instructions, rules and procedure to follow which will come from the new cabinet. I hope that they can understand the urgency of family reunification and speed up the process but all i can say right now is that just wait, watch and pray.

Allah hum sab par apna reham karay....Ameen Sum Ameen
