I cannot believe your words here. Hep C is not like a cold or flu you take antibiotics for at the present time Hep C is incurable and you can go to prison for having sex with someone knowing you have tested positive for it. This in later stages is the cause of AIDS. Its really important as when they do the testing for Medical Exam this is one of the Diseases you are tested for. I'm not saying they will refuse you entry into Canada but if you have not told your spouse they may tell him/her that the other has tested positive for HEP C. And if you knowing your positive and you have unprotected sex you can go to jail in Canada. It has happened to Canadians here.

No one in their right mind who knows about Hep C would comment as you have done, I'm quite shocked by your comments here!

micmac101 I think you may be mistaking hepatitis C (HEP C) with HIV.. completely different viruses!

Hep C is curable, while HIV doesn't have a definitive cure yet.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

And congrats to the recent DM, PPR and COPR guys! Let's hope LVO keeps this pace up.

HIV is AIDS and Hep C causes Aids and there is no cure HEP C. I know my sister died from it!

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

What do the LVO actually expects? What one should deposit as a marriage contract?
You "with id Applied in October" deposited the main documents that normally one gets in Pakistan (Nadra marriage certificate and nikkah namma with translation).
What did you submit when you were asked by LVO to submit (Marriage Certificate / Licence, Urdu Nikah Nama and translation.) .

I received this email today.
Dear Applicant,

In order to continue processing your application, we require the additional documents listed below. Please send clear legible photocopies rather than the original documents unless otherwise specified. If the documents are not written in either English or French, please enclose a certified translation with a photocopy of the original document.

Marriage Certificate / Licence

Urdu Nikah Nama and translation.

What are they exactly asking. I did send my nadra marriage certificate and nikkah namma with translation with my application. Why are they asking again

Sometimes they miss these critical documents and request again. "applied in october" already received his PPR though.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

I just want to know what did he send for these documents?
If they miss critical documents, then what if they miss academic certificates?
Normally, One is supposed to submit the original academic certificates along the application.
I'm asking this question because "applied in october" was successful to answer this question.

there r 2 diff types of hyp c, i dont knw the name off heart but with 1 type u can get medication n fight off the germs but the other type means there is no cure for it n u live ur whole life with it there is no vacinie for the hyp c yet but if u get the RNA test the doc can tell u wheather u have the virus or not in ur body, some time ppl get the germs but thier body is dry enough to fight the germs n its antibody hyp c that sits in thier body meaning they can get it if they get blood or have sex with some one who has hyp c.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

does lvo infroms u that ur file is in que? or do we have to order notes or send an email or submit a case specific inquiry?

I can't believe this ridiculous line of arguement about Hep C. I'm sorry micmac but you're grossly misinformed about the disease and doing just a few minutes of research would help clear things up for you. For one thing, Hep C does NOT cause Aids and is not primarily spread through sexual activity. There has been a lot of progress in treatments lately and there is even a drug on the market today (Sovaldi) that can effectively "cure" you of the disease even though you must be careful for the rest of your life.

Please read up on the basics: http://www.phac-aspc.gc.ca/hepc/faq-eng.php

"When a healthcare provider prescribes treatment for a person infected with the hepatitis C virus, one of the goals is to reduce the person's viral load (the amount of the virus present in the blood) to undetectable and to sustain that reduction over time. If there is no measurable virus 6 months after completion of treatment, an individual is said to be a "sustained viral responder". Many specialists consider these people to be cured."
