Hi All,

My fiance will be applying for my sponsorship by the end of this year, with our nikkah being done next week. He's a new PR. He went for his landing in July this year and will be moving to Canada for good by the end of the year which is when he plans on applying for my sponsorship. Thankfully he already found a job there. However we're worried about what kind of finances need to be shown from the sponsor's side to be able to confirm financial support to the person being sponsored, .i.e. me in this scenario.

Thank you in advance for any info/comments.

Prayers & Blessings for you all!

No financial requirements for Spouse. Advice, get marry before applying. Nikah only cases are taking too much time, and may reject.

I suggest don't push LVO too hard, you have already sent them two CSEs within a span of month, rather wait. Here is the key word "patience". You will get PPR eventually, pushing them may delay your case as some VOs have hard rocks in their upper chambers!!

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

I (the sponsor) received the supporting documents back from the CIC at the LVO. The online status of the application has not changed to DM yet. I am still hoping this means that our case is finalized and we should soon be receiving a PPR. Am I thinking right?
Is the PPR is through post only or would there be any e-mail correspondence?

Another member here also received supporting documents a few days ago so that's a good thing.

Can you share your timeline? Date you applied, sponsor approval, in process?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

My husband's medical expire in the beginning of November. We are hoping to soon be receiving a PPR and suspecting that the expiry date for the COPR would be set to match the expiry date of the medical. Is it possible (or has happened before) that the COPR is sent with a medical extension and the expiry date of the COPR is set to match this extension.
Does anyone know what is the correct procedure to follow to ask for an extension of the expiry date on the COPR.

Information taken from the following page 442 of this forum (put dots in the following at the place of spaces)
www canadavisa com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/spousal-sponsorship-pakistan-london-visa-office-t203899.6615.html

Have a look at the following case

I received this in my inbox last night:
You do not appear to meet these requirements because under Islamic Law, a marriage is not solemnized until the Rukhsati ceremony has taken place. In the IMM5490 Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire you state that you did not have a reception as you are waiting until your visa is finalized (Q14). You also state that you have not lived together because of your university (Q27) and you did not enter any dates of cohabitation.
Please provide an explanation of whether the Rukhsati been completed according to Islamic Law and, if so, please provide evidence in the form of a photo of the final stage of the event (Quran raised above your head as you leave the ceremony) or some other acceptable form of evidence.
Subsection 11(1) of the Act states that the visa or document shall be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of this Act. It appears that you do not meet the requirements of the Act for the reasons set out above.
Before I make a final decision, you may submit additional information relating to these concerns. You must provide any additional information within 30 days from the date of this letter.

Now please can anybody help
Me out in this scenario???
