Thankyou the FAQ is very helpful. however i do not live in Pakistan. I live in Saudi Arabia and my file was still sent to LVO I guess due to my nationality and for the Pakistani police checks. we applied in April 2015. on June 2015 my husband received approval from CIC Mississauga and my file was transferred to LVO. my application is fully complete except my police check from Saudi Arabia for which I already attached a document from the CIC office in Riyadh where they advised to wait for a request.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

My spouse medical is expiring on October 26, and the file status is decision made. Hoping that the decision made by CIC is positive, PPR etc will also take a few weeks...does this mean we'll get landing visa that will expire in just a few days? Or can CIC extend the vilidity of medical results beyond 1year?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It seems like we'll have to rush to get flights and stuff!!

Wow, you are really fortunate with your timeline.
I think they will give you a PPR soon.
I doubt they will try for medical extension, it has to go thru approval with CIC Medical office in New Delhi. It will be tight with the deadline but I think you will manage.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

congrats i hope the decision is in your favor and PPR issued to your spouse shortly.
