This is 3rd time that I'm posting but now showing my msg on the forum when I'm replying to Mercy24.

"Yes, I did send case specific inquiry to LVO as you advised and waiting for their feedback. I remember that they will take 28 days to respond against any case specific inquiry so they might respond by 1st week of September-2015 but it depends either they respond or not. God knows..!! My wife will also visit to MP by next week and I look forward if they will be helpful for us.

Hoping for the best in this stressing condition. I'll keep you update. Tnx"

It turned in process today. Is it that they are updating the ecas late or they are simply putting a backdate? If they started processing the file on 27th April, why haven't they asked for any document? Strange? or Normal? Anyways, Lets hope for the best.

Where do you have to send ur passport? Abu Dhabi VO or Islamabad VO?? I'm asking because I too applied from UAE .

It's normal. They actually started processing your application on Aug28 but They are putting the date when they got your file in LVO. London VO is doing pretty quick for the new applicants who submitted their applications in late 2014. Good luck

Looking at the "Timeline of Spouse Sponsorship for Pakistan Applicants 2014", it seems LVO is processing PK applications quite fast, specially from September the Time it takes to complete the FS1 Cases are remarkably less than the earlier in 2014. It's a good sign for PK applicants. Now its taking less than a year.

I am getting a bit nervous now as from the posts on this forum it seems the way CIC is handling our cases has changed. Our application was sent on April 1st 2014 and transferred on May 20, 2014, we now see August 25, 2015 In Process... but people are saying it does not mean the same as it used to earlier, that soon something will happen.

We were excited to see In Process but after seeing people talking negatively about it has got me worried. So what to expect in our case as we have already waited for more than 15 months.

Anyone, Mercy24, Hhafiz or others please advise.

I am 16 aug 2013 applicant ...
they sent me interview letter on 17 march 2015 Which i passed Alhamdu lilah

the sent me 2nd medical on 24 march 2015

medical done on 6 april 2015

In between they didn't change my E status

now the changed my E status

FILE RECEIVED TO DECISION MADE

and the made changes inside the E status

*We sent you medical instructions on March 24, 2015. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us) But no mail received yet...

I think the problem is when a user sees a status change to "in process" on eCAS
It's the date they report after clicking "in process" when they have opened your case file.
The fact the you see "in process" should be taken as a positive sign.
The "open case file" date used to match when eCAS changed to "in process".
But if they are changing the date to when they are first opening the case file just for them to file it;
I cannot truly find out when the file is "in process".
For example, if somebody is away on vacation or if any reason has not check their eCAS status for a long period.
Then he/she decides to check eCAS and notices it has changed to "in process".
Well, the problem is when did this occur? You really don't know. So you cannot take statistics of the "in process" dates properly.
But the fact is that you should consider the change to "in process" as generally a positive step.
In your case, given your timeline - I would order GCMS notes to see any possible reason for delay.

I applied visit visa but they refused by commenting your family ties are in canada so we r not satisfied that u will return back, one person working in islamabad office told me that a person cant apply two visa's untill decission is not made on any one. so this was also a reason.

Thank you Mercy24 for insight. We know our ECAS changed on August 25, 2015 to "In-Process". Please tell me what is GCMS and what will I learn from it and how it will help my case.

I applied for my wife immigration. London visa office received my application on march 5 2015. I got approval as a sponsor in april 2015. Now status is showing medical received. I just want to ask how long will it take for my wife to come here? What's the difference between application received and application in process.
I would appreciate any feedback.

This msg is for shahjee .because u were confused might be
actually same thing happened to me as well they asked for a remedical for my wife on 29 july 2015 and at the same time i seen on my Ecas there was exactly a same line written as ur ecas.. i was waiting also for medical instruction letter .. but we didnt receive anything through mail. but we received a letter by email sayiny the medical instruction on that form .. it was the same form required for the remedica now we done the medical and so far we didnt receive anything and the way they wrote on ecas its looks like we ll receive a letter at home because they mentioned the home address but it came by email already so i suggest u to dont get worry .. because they mostly communicate by emails instead of sending papers mails
