Consultants / lawyers do not have any magic spell or wand that can expedite the case. I think one can easily file the application if he / she follows the instructions. There is tons of information available on the net plus we have this forum, so anyone wants to file the application, my advice is do some research and do it yourself.

Well if i tell my opinion i will never depend on a lawyer for the most important application of my life. i believe this is my application and no one else can file it better than me.
we should do intense reading and research, do not leave any gap. all documents and essays should make sense and support each other. God forbid if something goes wrong then lawyer may advise you well.

Salaam everyone. I am finally travelling on the 1st of Sep. Could anyone tell me which documents i need for travelling and what do they ask for immigration over here and over there. Secondly, where do we get the declaration form? But most importantly which documents do i need with me? Any medical/dental records or anything??

If you have any kids who are Canadian citizens then make they NICOPs before you go to the airport, otherwise FIA will give you tough time. Also to get the Polio certificate(s) from any Govt hospital, though you can get one at the departure airport but it is better to get it before your flight.

In cash you can take maximum of US$ 5,000 (as per new Pakistan Govt's Law), but in shape of Demand Draft you can take more than that (make sure with your local Bank and ask the travel agent also). About taking along food and other items check this out

I have. to submit medical and police clearence

my sponser will go through from a medical on tuesday
so my question is they will provide any kind of peice of paper to us also ?
we have a police clearence ready which we will
send soon but along with that we have to send medical done confirmation also ?

and where i have to send the both medical confirmation and police clearence
can someone write me the address

The IOM will send the medical results itself, you only need to send the police certificate and for that the email you got for the same must has the LVO address. Anyways here is the address:

I suggest you to send case specific inquiry to LVO as it helped me. I sent case specific inquiry to them on 07 Aug and after that my status changed to in process/DM on 14Aug.

I hope that you get PPR very soon.

If it's an upfront medical then yeah they will give u a paper that u have to attach with ur application. And sorry I don't know the address. U can msg mercy24.

I have a question , how many of people from this forum went for a lawyer in Canada ,and who they are ? Cause I have feeling that sometimes ( only some of them) they don't present our case right way so we go through difficulties. If we face ( Khudanakhusta) refusal, they get a case.....so Canadian sponsors should cooperate to save each an other . Just comment if you are satisfied or not satisfied......with your lawyer.

You are right sister. I went with a consultant / lawyer as well and regretting my choice as he is not very supportive and doesn't respond to my calls / emails on time.

The interview update came to me by LVO after my CS inquiry. I applied through him because i wasn't exposed to this forum.

Also, he doesn't want me to send the additional proofs (visit / on going communication / money transfer) voluntarily. I plan on doing it in early September Insha Allah myself.

and today my ecas change to in process
my medical is already expried at may 27 2015
whitout remidical my ecas changed to process so kindly guid what is next i should wait for remidical or ppr?

Either they will extend your med, or ask you to re-do them.

lately applicants have been asked abt their illness, contact with TB patients, and any travels, and after this info is received, the VO determines whether your med should be extended or not. You need to wait for further instructions directly from LVO.

My wife sent a CSE to LVO on 05 August regarding Decision and return of original docs. Following is the reply she got on 19 August:


Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your email.

Please be advised that I am unable to provide you with an exact time frame for the decision of your application. Your application is currently awaiting officer review, once the officer has a made a decision on your application your originals will be returned.
