i have send my application as sponsor on may 30th 2015. yesterday i received a letter form cic that my application is approved and that my file is transfered to London visa office. when i checked y online status it says " We received your application to sponsor null wife name June 8, 2015". why NULL is written before her name? also the processing time i checked for London visa office is 28 months, does it really take that long?

To the best of my information, the flight which leaves from Lahore, first goes to Riyadh before it connects to the flight flying for Toronto at Jeddah and same is the true for the return. While from Islamabad, the Saudi Airline operate for Toronto directly via Jeddah; with out staying at Riyadh.

Thus, can you kindly re-affirm the route please?

My Itinerary shows Leaving Toronto YYZ 11:45 AM Arrive at Jeddah 7:40 AM then Leaving JEDDAH 12:10 PM going direct to Lahore arriving 6:40 PM there is Timezone difference. There is no mentioning of going via riyadh.
Return is leaving Lahore 5:40PM arriving in Jeddah not in riyadh at 9:25PM then Leaving Jeddah 3:15AM arriving in Toronto 8:45AM
Hope this clears BTW you can always go to Saudia Airlines website and check flight schedule your self.

I didn't receive my original documents yet. Whom i need to contact? or should i Wait?

when i have got my visa i send them email regarding my documents just wait for one or two week..

Salam,
Is there any forum member/family travelling from Islamabad to Toronto by Saudi Airline; on 2nd of October 2015, please? In fact, my wife is travelling for the first time so it will be a huge favor if she can accompany/be guided during the journey.
I would like to share for some one intending to travel during the same period as well that Saudi Airline is offering a very good deal from Islamabad to Toronto (via Jeddah; one adult ticket cost about PKR 60,000 as of today).

I am traveling from ISB to Toronto but i am traveling on 9th Oct and going by PIA and paid 91 000 . why you are not booking direct flight.

When do you want to fly?
In my case, the tickets are from Islamabad to Toronto via Jeddah.
My agent told me that the prices will decline even further in/after mid Nov.

Leave Toronto anytime near mid-September.
Return from ISB anytime near end of October.

Thanks for the post.
Dear, the reason of not travelling by PIA is that it costs about PKR 32,000 extra per ticket. As contrary to yours, I got the ticket in about PKR 59,287. In my case, the saving is around 1 lakh rupees as I have more than one travellers.

Received an email today regarding medical extension. I'll take it as a good sign for now. Are these medical extensions usually granted or not really and what have people seen in terms of timeline?

no one can say for sure why "null" unless you ask cic.
however, I can guess below 3 option:
1: you may have messed up with last name.
2: applicant may not have last name. while filling forms, might have written NULL
3: while filling forms, you validated form and generated bar code, later you made correction in last name but didn't validate again but got printed.

Hey. Has ur medical expired already? If not when is it expiring? We applied in december and havent heard from london since the application was filed. My husbands medical expires in november.
