Hello all, still in the process of collecting documents before submitting our case.

What is the embassy letter the police officers require in order to issue a police clearance? They are not willing to issue it unless we give them a letter.

Normally District Police Office section DIB branch process the PCC, where did u go for your PCC?

Not sure which one my husband went to. So the District Police Office section should issue the PCC without any so-called embassy letter, correct?

It's a medical extension request.
With the approval of CIC Medical Officer, the medical validity can be extended for another year.

Medical will expire on 3rd september 2015...

I wanted some info. I was planning to get married next month, INSHALLAH.

What proofs of marriage does cic need / ask for? (pics, marriage certificate) - anything else? - so that I can ensure we have that.

Why did they ask u to submit a new PCC??

As PCC is valid for 12 months and in my case my PCC got expired. so they requested the fresh one.

Does it really matter if I change my name after marriage and get a new passport, will i still be able to use my Canada visa that I got before getting married and visit my husband while my papers are being processed in London?

I have a quick question for you...we received a request for a new PCC and I was wondering did this delay your process by very much? Did they ask this of you after eCAS changed to in process or before?

London office is asking for new updated PCC? I already submitted with my application but it is valid for 6 months only and i am not living in Pakistan. Just visit every year for a month or 40 days.

Any one have info?

My husband and my sister's husband were asked for it and we had the same visa officer. and my other sisters husband and my brother's wife were not and they had the same visa officer.

Is there any forum member/family travelling from Islamabad to Toronto by Saudi Airline; on 2nd of October 2015, please? In fact, my wife is travelling for the first time so it will be a huge favor if she can accompany/be guided during the journey.
I would like to share for some one intending to travel during the same period as well that Saudi Airline is offering a very good deal from Islamabad to Toronto (via Jeddah; one adult ticket cost about PKR 60,000 as of today).

Guys I have a very important question to ask which will influence immensely which direction I take. On Cic, the time for spousal sponsorship from Pakistan is 40 months. What the the average time observed on this thread?

Individually Applicant can view his/her application through '' Application Number/Case Number'' (Info about applicant only). Sponsor can browse his/her said Application with UCI/Clint ID Number ( Info about both, applicant and sponsor).

Yes, this is good to know if the applicant does not know their UCI number.
Their mailing and home address will also appear.
