ALHUMDULILAH. Passport has been dispatched to Lahore. I just have to go and collect it. I hope everyone hears the good news very soon. Such a long wait. Can't believe it.

Hello everyone!

I was just wondering have some people experienced receiving an update on their E-CAS when they've been asked for PPR? I don't think it would have that line on E-CAS...but I was just curious!

While traveling from Pakistan to Canada after visa issuance do you need nicop or cnic card made or can you travel just on the pakistan passport with the visa stamped. Or will the airport authority ask you to present nicop or cnic with the pakistan passport. Please anyone who has info regards this let me know.


No you do not need NICOP to travel from Pakistan to Canada. NICOP will be required if you are travelling from Canada to Pakistan on Canadian PAssport. Otherwise you will need a visa for Pakistan. But If you are travelling from Canada to Pakistan on Pakistani passport, then you donot require NICOP.

FIA (Pakistani immigration) is known to ask/hassle people to show their NICOP or CNIC when leaving, even with Pak passports and visas.
It should be in your possession as a Pakistani national leaving the country(Pak).

Without this, you will face issues even trying to renew passports or ID Card at the local consulate.
Don't leave Pakistan without computerized CNIC or NICOP. It will save you alot of hassle later on.

I have been reading this forum for a while now.
Here is timeline, please help me and tell what should i expect next.
Application sent: 11-September 2014
File transfer to LVO: 15-october 2014
Additional document+ proof of relationship: 7- August 2015

Will be sending additional documents on August-14-2015.

CIC website still shows APPLICATION RECEIVED
1-We received ____ application for permanent residence on October 15, 2014.
2-Medical results have been received.
3- we sent you correspondence letter...... And asked for additional documents on august 7-2015

Medical was done on 11-September 2014. It will be expired next month on September but i haven't got any REMEDICAL request yet.

Me and my brother sent applications on same time. He has got the letter as well and his wife's account shows IN PROCESS. Where my account doesn't show yet.

Please let me know is Pakistani international Driving licence is Accepted in Canada or its give help when we try for g2 test as experience ???????? Does I got any benefit with my Pakistani International Driving licence in canada ????????
