How do we apply for International Driver's License in Pakistan, specifically in Lahore? My wife already has a license but not the international one.

Does it help to have International Driver's License in getting G2 or G License in Ontario?

International PK license doesn't make any difference. I had my Pakistani Driving license (normal one not international) from Karachi when i landed in Ottawa, Ontario last year, got the G1 by clearing the written n eye test, and then attempted the G road test directly instead of G2. All I had to do was to visit the Pakistani High commission office in ottawa and asked them to attest my PK license which they did in a day charged $20 fee. I took that attestation letter to Drive test center and they booked my G road test directly since i had about 4yr PK driving experience. All i did was practice driving here for 1 month and got my G license directly on first attempt just 2 months after landing.

If you dont do the attestation part from PK high commission and directly go to Drive test with ur PK license, they will still exempt you for 1year waiting period for G2.

I will try to answer your questions in the light of my own case which was very similar to you.

Don't worry and keep praying. When we submitted our application, we were sure that we will be put in interview queue as ours was nikkah only case (we did rukhsati later on and sent proof to LVO voluntarily). And we were really tensed throughout the whole process when we shouldn't have as our process was very smooth. So Do not worry and keep praying. InshAllah soon you will hear a good news.

My scenario was also nikkah only but we did not mention it as there was a full function of nikkah
And afterwards another function that we showed as valima
My husband visited me in April n we had rukhsati done and taken more pictures during his stay in saudia .
Is it OK that we also voluntarily send those pictures and tickets to LVO??

I have a funny situation. Im driving since 4 years but i don't have a license. Ive already submitted passport and license over here takes around what six months now as you need the learner license first, dont even have that. any suggestions?

On my husbands application, we wrote my email address as he doesnt have one. Thats okay right?? ??? They'll contact us through that email address in the future?

As long as you have access to that email address its absolutely fine and YES if you have provided them with your email address they will communicate through it.

Thanks Mercy i will try to provide some more photos i have already shared around 50 photos before as well and about pay stub i am not working now but before i was working on commition so dont have pay stubs

Allhamdulilah My permanent Application status change in Decision Made but still no PPR ! Yesterday My cousin got his PPR we both have same timeline!

Today I notice my permanent application status on Decision made when I click on it inside i got application recived on 29 September 2014 and medical result has been recived thats all
Inshallah hopefully I got ppr in next days Ameen
