Hi, can someone please help me. I got an email from cic yesterday asking me if I have travelled or have had any illnesses since my medical. This is to determine if I'm eligible for medical extension. How do I reply to this email? Do I send them a reply through email and attach a copy of my passport or should I post a letter. Please help

Reply by email should be fine.
If you've haven't been sick (no major illness)and didn't travel abroad, they may extend your medicals by a year and finalize your file soon and save you the hassle from doing another medical exam. Be honest though.

Well, I was just talking to my wife last night and we were both guessing when CIC would take action on our file.
Because I am close behind you, I decided to log into eCAS and noticed our status changed to "in process" for Permanent Residence Application.

Good to hear that. Congratulations!

My file was submitted on October 7th and file was transferred to London on Dec 16th, 2014. I am desperately waiting for some news (Remed request).

Does change of address cause any delays in the application process??

No. It's always good to keep updated address when dealing with CIC.

How can u say 8 to 10 montha when same logic doesn't apply in ur case....anyway I have similar timelin as ur even 2nd medical too..lets hope for the best ameen

Since the beginning of this month, the LVO seems has expedited the process otherwise if you could follow the spreadsheet, till July the trend was 8 - 10 months for re-medical / In process etc., Some are exceptions like you and me and we heard in the 7th month. Anyways, my prayers are for everyone who has been waiting for the good news, Inshallah we all hear that pretty soon.

My passport going to expire in next month, my file under process in LVO should i update visa office after renewal?

If YES? than how i will send updated copy of my passport to LVO?

Get it renewed ASAP and send LVO a case specific inquiry with the attachment of the BIO-Page of your new Passport.

No, its not normal but this does not mean its wrong or unacceptable. Most are getting request from CHC New Delhi but some have also received request from CHC London directly.
The visa section is responsible for issuing PR visa so u should comply and schedule an appointment for a medical exam.

Yes, it's absolutely normal. To the best of my understanding, CHC Delhi is helping out LVO due to overload of application; after shifting of Islamabad application to LVO.

8 to 10 month from the timw they received application for permanent residence or stage 1 approval ...which one is correct
