Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

I have just started with the application/filling out the forms process and I have a few questions:

1. How does one obtain an UCI?
2. Since I live in QC, it says I have to apply for CSQ. Is this mandatory? My spouse is currently doing his BA in Pakistan.
3. It is stated that IMM 5669 AND IMM 5406 should be complete by "you", as well as your family members 18 years of age, and that each member has to complete their own copy. I don't understand this part. Who is "you". The applicant or the sponsor? And since I am only sponsoring my spouse, are his family members required to fill out the forms if they are aged 18 and above?
4. If we are not using a representative, am I still required to submit IMM 5476 (use of a representative form)?

Excuse me for all of the questions, I am new to all of this.

Send them the rukhsati pictures that's very important they MIGHT not conduct an interview after seeing them because right now they dont have a proof of your complete marriage, its just written right? Send them the pictures asap so it doesn't cause more delays and yes they contact you just before your one year completes. Did you do an upfront medical when you filed the application and paid the residency fee?
Upfront medical xpired nd application submitt in July 2014 yes we paid all feees

UCI is same as sponsor's PR card number. But leave it empty for now
2. Since I live in QC, it says I have to apply for CSQ. Is this mandatory? My spouse is currently doing his BA in Pakistan.
CSQ certificate is mandatory for QC residents, and it would asked later if you don't submit it know. Please submit it with the application to avoid delays

3. It is stated that IMM 5669 AND IMM 5406 should be complete by "you", as well as your family members 18 years of age, and that each member has to complete their own copy. Applicant will fill it only, if there are no kids above 18. Then just one form is enough, you would be required to fill in his siblings and parents addresses, but that doesn't mean you have to add separate forms for them.

4. If we are not using a representative, am I still required to submit IMM 5476 (use of a representative form)?

No you don't need to fill or submit this form, if you are not using a representative.

Excuse me for all of the questions, I am new to all of this.

Let us know if you have any questions, I hope you are following both checklists in filling up the forms. Anyways attaching their links.

Ans 1) Leave it on CIC
Ans 2) I don't know much about it. But seen people on forum. I believe its mandatory.
Ans 3) IMM 5669 AND IMM 5406 are Part 2 Immigration forms means Principal Applicant, so r u only sponsoring your spouse? If so, only Spouse has to file these forms.
Ans 4) No. If you are not representing any Representative then no need to fill and submit this form.

Thank you @sulemanmirza and @ipoo for your prompt responses.

How does one get a certified copy of CNIC. He has the new version of the card in English. Must he get it certified by a notary?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Can someone please explain what is COPR used for? so i understand its a temporary PR card.
When you do receive the actual PR card?
While you have the COPR, are you still considered a permanent resident and are you entitled to the same rights as a permanent resident?
