There are some people who are getting it within a month or two and some people have gone over four months and still waiting. It can happen early too but 2-6 months is the time one should keep in mind.

anybody knows is polio certificate is compulsory or not i am flying tonight

Ministry of Health Officials are also present at every international airports in Pakistan, so you can have polio drops and have the card ready at airport.

I am going to sponsor my wife. As I live in Toronto I need her to fill up part of the application. She lives in different country. Can someone who already applied for family class sponsorship let me know which forms need her signature as I don't to make mistake. Its just a cross match.

Following are the forms that are signed by the applicants:

So if you goto this link:

Forms under Part 2: Immigration forms are filled by your wife and signed by your wife where-ever required.

Also as you also go with the same country specific guide as we Pakistani goes:

all applicable forms in the above link needs to be filled by your wife also and where-ever required are signed by her too.

also in addition to the above there is also a box in Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking [IMM 1344] form which needs to be signed by her. Although this form is filled by you.

Hi All,

I need your expertise on this one.

I am a Canadian PR holder and my wife is still in Pakistan. I applied for her Immigration in Sept 2014. On the 30th of June they asked us to get in touch with IOM MHAC with in the next 7 days. The problem we are facing is that the number 92-51-111-466-472 no one picks up, this machine in the back ground keeps on saying that all the agents are busy please send us an email at canmedpk@iom.int on the 30th at 1040 PM EST and as of today I havent received a response from them.

Can any one please guide me as to what should we do?

Assalam-o-Aleikum Brother,

They are not accepting the phone calls, I had the same problem, but then I email them, and they responded on it. I don't know your city, but in Karachi, they are on Shahrah-e-Faisal. You must email them first, wait for few days, and you will get the appointment date. You do send them email with urgent request, lets hope you get an earlier appointment.

It takes them atleast 3 days to send you an appointment, provided you have send the request through email with applicant details like name, dob, location, contact info and attached the official remed request email from CIC.

Wa Alaikum Asalam,

I just send them the second request. I did gave them some info thinking they will call my wife to schedule an appointment but they did not.i am based in Faisalabad.

Since we are on this topic please advise to what should she take with her to the Doctor like any pictures etc? i know that she has to take the documents with her but anything else.

Actually when I applied I paid half fees.. n now I want to pay my half fees.. so anyone have any idea how can I pay my fees..

In my case the ask for the half fee them self. CIC will ask it

well my brother i am like you i sponsered my twins it takes almost one year for them to reach at DM yesterday still wait for thier E-mail by LVO so applied quickly dont waste time like me as i wasted almost six months by thinking what to do
