salam to all
my wife has sponsored me. we submitted the application in jan 2015. currently my status is ''application received''. recently my baby is born in canada. where should i upload the baby's birth certificate and should i upload it or my wife should upload it ??

and recently i applied for visiting visa to meet my baby but they refused it giving the reasons that points of purpose of visit and family ties in canada and country of residence didnt satisfy their requirements

Congratulations for the baby, MASHA ALLAH it is a blessing . May ALLAH grant him good health, success, happiness and shower all His blessings on him/her. Please pray for me too, my baby is also due in 3 months although my case is exact opposite of yours.

Sorry to hear that they didn't approved your visit visa, it is harsh although there is a 99% chance or rejection for TRV but you had a genuine reason, I think you didn't compiled the case in a proper way.

As for your question for the baby, if your application is transferred already to LVO. Do a case specific enquiry and tell them about the baby attach baby's birth certificate, they will reply to you with the documents they need OR Your wife can send the birth certificate (long form) of the baby and a cover letter explaining the situation to LVO .

Kya koi bata sakta hai k kya canada ne citizen ship apply krny k liye time barhaa dia hai 3 years c 4 years kr diye hai

Applications for citizenship received after June 11 2015 will be processed under new rule. It's nothing to do with, when you apply for pr .
yes, one has to spend 4 out of 6 years in Canada according to new rules

My case transfer to lvo in oct 2014 and few document requested by CIC in May. now my stats changed to in process today. what's next still did not asked for re medical. how long does it take for DM.

Salam everyone, I'm new to this forum and found it quiet informative.
I recently submitted the application for sponsoring my wife on 12th of this month. Should I expect a confirmation email/letter from CIC for the receipt of application? If yes, how many days it usually takes after submission? Or they will just respond me after sponsor evaluation has been completed? which takes around 60days roughly.
Appreciate some guidance.

They will only respond to you after your sponsorship evaluation.

No one can tell exactly how long will it take for DM. You may get some response after 2/3 months.

Soon you will receive the request for re-medical, provided if they haven't extended your medical.

I wanted to ask if we can rely on the ECAS. Do they update everyone's? Its been 4 months since the medical and my PR status says Application Received and if you click on that it says Medical Results received. Isnt it too late for them to first change it to "in process" and then DM? I'm confuseddd.

Re medical was done in first week of Feb & right away they asked for English NN & since then no update. & I applied exactly the same dates you did.
