Hello Everyone,

I am a new member to this forum. I needed some information regarding the time period.

I applied for my wife (from Pakistan) sponsorship last week. We got our Nikkah done last year in May 2014 and it took me about one year to gather all the documents from A-Z and I left no documents for later to be sent to CIC. Now my question is, will that create a red flag in my case?

Please note I have sent quiet a few docs to Prove my relationship until may 2015 with her such as Whatsapp chat history, call history, skype sessions, western union stuff, receipts for mobile credit sent to her ufone number using World Remit service, pictures from my 3 trips made to Pakistan between the span of a year. Also, I did not send them history for each month or day for the docs I just mentioned but sent them with gaps between months. So for example for Skype, I sent snapshot of july then october then January etc instead of each month.

Please also not that my case is a Nikkah only case.

I also labelled clearly each proof document I sent and organized it so as to make their process easier.

Please let me know how does all that sound.

Hi, I once asked LVO if I it is fine to upload a scan copy of my boarding pass (visit to Pakistan), pictures of wedding anniversary etc. That is what they said:

"We are writing with regards to your application for permanent residence in Canada. You're free to upload/submit what you feel is relevant or wait until we request it"

I sent them everything instead of waiting for them to request it. I simply uploaded all the scanned documents in case specific inquiry section. My GCMS notes says "pictures of wedding anniversary and proof of visit to Pakistan received via email, printed and PAd in file" I know PA is put away but no idea what PAd is.

How to know - other than contacting LVO - that Decision Made mean approved or (God Forbids) rejected?

After re-medicals, no other correspondence from LVO. No PPR, no additional documents etc.

DM is negative sign in only case if there is negative feed back in interview by VO. otherwise highly likely positive

I dont know when, but I checked it earlier today and it was showing "DM"

Did u order notes? If yes, what does the notes say

submitted the asked information by LVO in April 2015 as below

"Please provide your full C.V. including: roles and responsibilities, number of persons supervised, branch/division, title, supervisor. This is particularly related to your current Govt. job/Department"

one week ago i inquired through E-mail and the reply is "still background checks are under process"

My file is also in security backgrounds since Sept 2014.

Then why are you assuming its a refusal ?

God forbid , I am NEVER assuming a refusal but trying the to resolve even the 0.0009 per cent chance

My cousin got visa stamped today, and validity is 7 Jun 2015, if he could not move within this time will his visa expire, can he extend his time, whom he has to write for extending this time? if some one have such experience then an urgent response is requested, pls

He has to travel before/on that date otherwise his visa/copr will expire. It's Friday already, chances of him getting an extension in such short notice seems unlikely. Would be wise to just travel and complete his landing at all cost.

He didn't know his medical will be expiring June 7th?

My Status is Still Application Received but i got the re-medical request in march 2015.

Timeline

Apply = june 2014
Application to sponsor = August 2014
Proof of Contact = March 2015
Re-medical = Mrach 2015

Hi All,

I hope you all will be good. I am a silent reader on this blog. I sponsored my wife in last April 2014. Application forwarded to London in June. In January 2015 they asked me for additional documents and then i received an email from Delhi immigration regarding medical (just Xray) in April 2015. The medical is been done in early May and now on 30 May my status says ''Decision Made''. My question is that how long it takes for passport request after decision is been made. Please if someone has same scenario then do let me know. Thanks

Brother my Case is same as you.... my re-medical was done in march 2015 after that not even my status get changed.... but normally it takes 1 month after DM to passport request.

My passport is expiring in January 2016 , and I have applied for new one, which I shall receive in a week or so. Now I'm wondering should I informe LVO about it , or send new passport when my PPR arrive, InShAllah.....
