Need a small help - a question. Do we receive an email for the decision for sponsorship approval or does it come thru the regular mail only.

I got the AOR for spousal application by e-mail a couple of weeks ago. Now the e-CAS says 'Decision Made' with a line stating that a letter has been mailed to my home address. So no e-mail this time?

I am in exact situation as you -- my Wife has been waiting for the mail for 2 weeks in Karachi, Pakistan. I don't know why they simply didn't email the decision.

You may have received Decision Made for Sponsorship approval. Usually it is by email, however, occasionaly it will be sent out via snail mail as well. If you haven't received anything by email, then follow up in the next couple of days by calling the call centre.

This is definitely not a decision around your Permanent Resident application if you have just recently recieved your AOR.

I agree with your comments. I called CIC to know the status of my application. The gentleman asked my UCI number and informed me that I've been approved to sponsor my wife and that my file is being transferred to LVO. The decision was made to my sponsorship application on April 30th, 2015 and the letter has not been dispatched to my mailing address so far (don't know why).

Mr. Khan I'd suggest you to call cic call centre (1 888-242-2100) too as it worked for me.

Should i email LVO? or something else???

Hey Thanks and I know my case was processed very quickly. Maybe because I applied while living in Pakistan? who knows, maybe just luck. Don't lose hope InshAllah good news will come to you very soon!
