Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hi everyone, I am sponsoring my husband and his file is currently in LVO. His file was transferred to London in June 2014. In total, his application time has exceeded 38 months. He has already done re medical, provided his copy of passport bio page, eye colour height etc.. on Feb 19 2015 he received a letter from the immigration officer who is working on his case , he said that we failed to provide schedule A which is incorrect because my husband did mail that in (he has receipt and tracking number as proof). My husband sent schedule A again on Feb 24 2015.
My question is this, how long is the wait for ppr after re medical? I ve heard that missing documents causes delay, how long of a delay?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hi Folks,

I had a question. When I check my wife's status online on CIC website I have 2 columns, one is saying "Sponsorship Application Status" and the other one is "Permanent Residence Application Status".

Under the "Sponsorship Application Status" it says Decision Made and under the "Permanent Residence Application Status" it says Application Received.

What does this mean? Decision Made for sponsorship and application received for PRAS? Whats the difference?

First one is Stage 1 - Approval of the Sponsor.
Second one is Stage 2 - Approval of the applicant (and dependents) for Permanent Residence Visa.

hi,
Under the "Sponsorship Application Status" it says Decision Made

That means you have passed STAGE 1 and already receive sponsorship Approval.

Permanent Residence Application Status is App. received.
That is Second stage, which just started for you and can take 1 year as well. The status will change to In Process and finally decision made after months. so wait until any correspondence from London visa office comes..

I hope it clears any doubts..:)

Decision Made means you are eligible to Sponsor and Application Received means they have received your application but haven't started processing yet.

Attach a copy of passport in email and send them otherwise its not necessary coz they haven't requested one.

Everyone should pay their RPRF fees if not already done so.
Holding it until CIC asks is sort of helping to delay the file even further.
Email the receipt to CPC-M or send it by mail, and also upload a copy to the visa office by using cic website as attachment reference file number.

Salaam, a decision was made on my sponsorship approval on Aprl 23, 2015. I have not yet received any letter though. But I called the call centre and they confirmed that I have been approved as a sponsor. If I pay the RPRF now, where should I send the receipt of payment? LVO? or CPC-M?

Hi,
For safety purpose u should bring both your passports to your interview, which have only the last digit that is incremented in your Pakistani passport.
