AOA Everyone. I received an email from CIC on April 1st, 2015 that my application was received on February 05, 2015 at CPC-M. And they sent me a UCI & a File Number in that email. I checked my online status says IN PROCESS. How long is it going to take for my approval to come now? And how long do they take after approval of sponsor to transfer my file to LVO?

You received an Acknowledgment of Receipt.
It takes approximately 2 months for Stage 1 sponsor approval.
When they send you an email that your file has been transferred to LVO. Your ecas will change to decision made for Sponsor Approval.

If they are not requesting additional documents, normally taking 12 to 14 months to have visa issued.
You will need to post 8 times, then you will have option to add timeline when you edit your profile.

So approximately how long does it take to change my CNIC card.....and how long does it take to change the passport.I mean how long does it take to have an urgent passport? because if I change my CNIC card then I will have to change my passport too beacause the passport is based on the info from the CNIC card.

It doesn't matter if you want to change you can before applying or after but once you filled your case do not change your name otherwise its gonna delay your process.
if you take my suggestion stick to the same name and file change it after when your process is done.

I will second Ismail, do not change your spouse's name although change your NIC to married, also if your sponsor is a PR and still have CNIC then he should change it too, also after that Nadra now issues a Family registration Certificate (FRC) which is same as B form and it also serves as a evidence of your marriage registration.

So first you will change yours CNIC do it urgent it will take 9 to 10 days, then go for Nadra Marriage registration certificate and also pay for the FRC. You will get both of them together. And when your marriage registration comes up you can go for passport.

LOV asked for re medical in November 2014
LOV asked for Bio page of pp in December 2014
Since then no response from LOV
No update on their website
Only three lines are there
1. Application received on December 13, 2013
2. Has started processing Nov 20, 2014
3. Received medical

Would really appreciate for any help or suggestion?
As i noticed on this forum about MP, so i am meeting my MP next week.

I was thinking the same thing because on their website it doesnt say that I have to change it.But some people say that your current status is single in your CNIC card.So they may reject your immigration application on the basis that you say that you are married but your CNIC card does not show your current marital status.That is why I want to be sure.I really dont want my process to be delayed.

Its not a requirement, People change it in PK for two reasons

i) To have their Husbands's Name as their last name if they want
ii) To have their Nadra status updated as of a Married person and get included in the family tree (FRC)of their Husband.
Your status in Nadra's record doesnt have any relation with ur PR App.

Your MRC from Nadra, and Nikah Naama is more than enough. That's my take on it.

From what I see they have asked for remed and its done since March 11,2015. I think this good that you case is going fast. Next you should Passport request In Sha Allah..............
