I wonder what they ask for in PPR1 and PPR2, I know these are two different steps - for PPR2 they ask for passport submission but can someone explain PPR1 please. Thanks

PPR1 step has been eliminated this year.

AFAIK In PPR1 they ask for a copy of your passport and want you to send it to LVO, in PPR2 they ask you to send your original passport to CHC Islamabad for visa.

Jinnah hospital in Lahore. just take your original Passport.. and go n ask for polio certificate.. hopefully everything will be done in 30 mins max.

PP copy is sufficient.
It can be done in Services Hospital too.

From a week to few weeks. In PPR1 they ask for updated Information chart and scanned copies of PP(s).
But LVO is skipping PPR1 now a days.

I don't think we received the AOR. We just received the SA.

Mostly people get SA letter/email only.

I wanted to book a flight to Karachi for my flight in April but the ticket cost $2300 CAD with PIA.
So I did a search with expedia.ca and skyscanner.ca to see the airlines, cost and layovers.
Then whichever appealed to me, I went directly to the airline website, searched for the same flight and then booked.
It might cost a little more or the same, but I don't like dealing with booking agencies.
If there's an issue, I prefer to deal directly with the airline.
I booked Turkish Airlines for $1250 CAD for return ticket.
Some people may prefer another airline which they see in their initial search.

Try cheapOair.ca , my parents just came in from Pakistan last week and took KLM KHI Abu Dhabi Amsterdam Calgary , it was a nice experience for them and was pretty cheap, I got around $200 less from travel agents around Canada quoted.

I had a horrible experience with turkish airline. lol. I wouldn't wanna put anyone through what i want though .

No problem we are here to help, yes you need Original Urdu Nikkah nama, Original Urdu Nikkah nama's english translation and NADRA marriage certificate.

another quick question can some one give the contact pf certified translaters in islamabad? do we have to get the translation attested by notery public? what about the attestation of other docs like photo copy of CNIC, photocopy of passport? should they b verified by notery public or any govt gazated officer can attest thm?

One way cost was $1260.00 CAD , you just have to look for good flights and deals, every minute and every hour deals and prices are changing..!!

And the cheapest I got quoted for the same flight by a travel agent in Toronto was $1365 CAD.

What was horrible?

I should also mention the ticket for Turkish airlines was round-trip, not one way.
I remember last year when I took PIA there was some kid crying out loud for half of the journey.

just visit any govt hospital like Jinnah or etc with original passport and one photo copy of his passport , contect to reception and ask him I need polio vec and polio certificate , within 30 minute he will done. One thing remember when he went to dr. Clinic for medical test bring this polio certificate too and also take with him when he travel to Canada because on airport some immigration officer require that certificate too. Ok best of luck. What is your ECase status?

E-status is "in progress", medical results have been received since since June 2014 and we started processing ur application in May 2014 at LVO. But you can also find details in my Posts/profile.thnx
