I need to ask something, My spouse in Canada recently submitted our paperwork it's been almost a month. I wanted to know we are supposed to wait for an email right? Will our case go to London or Islamabad? I need to start my
Masters but I dono how long it takes some people say 11 months some people say 3 years I want to know weather I should start of just wait if it processes soon.Also Im a bit confused and if during our process I want to visit my husband (my sponsor) in Canada can I do it through a Visa Visa or a student one?

I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out with my queries.

My husband also got a remedical request on Feb. 26th and was only asked to provide X-rays. Our timeline is as follows:
App filed: April 24, 2014
App transferred to LVO: June. 25, 2014
Remed request: Feb. 26, 2015
Remeds done: Mar. 11, 2015

Now I'm waiting for the PPR2. I hope it comes soon inshaAllah! All the best

So basically it hasn't even been a full year since you submitted your papers and it's possible that you will get the visa soon since re medical is done ? Wow ma shallah that was quick I hope mine is as quick

Hello Member, I have a great news to share. My spouse have received her visa and we are done with the waiting game. I am also praying to hoping for the rest of the people that are waiting to be re-united. Timeline is as below:

App Filled: Feb 24,2014
AOR Rec: March 20,2014
File transferred (LVO Directly): May 12,2014
Medical Received: Jan 10,2015
Passport request: Mach 02,2015
Passport Submitted: March 09,2015 ... THROUGH VAC
Passport Received With Visa: March 13,2015 ( Within 5 days)

We received ppr1 and passport request (PPR2) at the same time. Below are few more things that I would like to mention:

We had our first sponsorship application withdrawn 2012. So this was our second application( Same spouse).
We never submitted original educational documents.
No even original nikkah namma. Just a photocopy ( Not even attested)
No interview (Thanks God).
We were given PPR 1 AND PPR 2 together.
Visa received within 5 days.

When our file was submitted I was quite sure that our interview will be conducted. BUT BY THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY, no interview and we passed through all the process really without any hurdles.All I would say is that PRAYERS HAVE POWER AND MIRACLE DO HAPPEN....

I am very obliged to the forum members that have helped me and many more like myself with so many question. I also pray for the rest of you to be re-united with your families as soon as possible.

Hey! Answer for your first question is that after submitting the case you will receive the email and then they will send the letter saying the same thing which is on the email and your file will be transferred to London visa office. Looking at the trends and all we can only guess that they finishing the cases between 12-14 months. It's totally your decision to go for further studies or not bcz it's I didn't . During the process to get chances of visit visa and student visa is very less 99% they will reject bcz 2 parallel process I think don't work. What u can do is apply for US visa n meet him in America.

Just a quick question what day n time ecas usually updates the status and what day or time it will be in Pakistan?

Usually mail communication happens on Fridays. When you check your status online what is it showing? "In progress"?

SO SICK AND TIRED OF WAITING!
LVO HASNT EVEN CHANGED OUR STATUS AFTER REMED. ITS STILL APP RECEIVED! NO OTHER CORRESPONDENCE EITHER!
WHAT ON EARTH ARE THEY DOINGGGGG. USUALLY PPR COMES SO SOON AFTER REMED, WHATS TAKING THEM SOOO LONG
