Anyone here got a medical result extension? Are they even giving medical result extension now? And what date do they consider for your 12 months duration, the day you undergo a medical examination or the day your report is sent to the VO?

I don't think so ..as the date which appears on our blood reports,x ray reports is the date when medical has been done ,,in notes it's written when received to visa office ,but validly is 1 year from the date when medical has been done ..they are not going to see the date on courier envelope of medical report or when an e medical report has been sent ...date they will read will be the one appearing on reports ..

@ roshaanee How long ur medical is valid. What's date of expiry? Is this one year or more? Medical in my case has date of expiry after 5 yrs.

it is different for different cases.as per my visa it is according to date on which medical results were forwarded.

3 years is a very long time. I filed my case on Feb 14/ 2015. Which was Saturday
I know a lot of people and my friends to that got it in like 9 months, 10 months, 11 months
They got approved fast
I am just praying hard. Please get the visa as soon as possible.
I hope everyone gets in within short period (AMEEN)

I believe it's valid for a year as it's not mentioned anywhere on the details I have. 5 years that's a long time I have not heard about this before.

I got my passport back today. Submitted it on 13 jan. Total time London office took after my application was received in London was 12 months n 3 months were taken for approval of my sponsor initially. So in total 15 months for case to process.

That is not something that should have 'Off course' with! Your med can be done in any part of world where you are residing.
