Biggest concern is this new processing time drama. No idea if this is applicable to old applicants.

What date of july ur file transferred to london?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014. Processing times are subject to change.
Now this is what it says on their site as anyone can see that.it doesn't mean anything else, rest is all just guessing game.
I sent my application for initial assessment on April 28, they sent me an email stating that its been transferred to LVO in May but then later on I got a letter too in July stating the same thing. I saw my MP in the end of January sometime and they sent out an inquiry, in 3 days they responded stating that Visa officer hasn't even looked at the file its underneath a pile of many files so it might be a while before they get to my file. My MP's assistant told me to send her just a quick email in a couple of months and she will follow up on this. On February 3rd or 4th my lawyer called me to inform that remedical with chest x Ray and a couple of other thing are needed and they gave us 7 days for it. The day after my wife went for re medical I got another email asking for official nglish translation of nikah nama, which I emailed 30 hours ago. At my wife's medical they took a pic of her there, & 2 passport copies as requested in that email & asked her to drop off 2 pics before she leaves(so she went to a photo studio got it done dropped off). This is my story, Plz do share your thought on this, if you like. Seniors & juniors all are welcome.
Chao.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Doesnt apply to 2014 applicants. When we applied the time was 11 months. Should be that only for us!

i can't remember as I just send my documents to the lawyer and she takes care of it, but I do have that email sitting around somewhere in which they asked to reply to this email with required document and leave subject line as it is which is the file #, name etc etc.
I think its the same standard email address that everyone is sharing here but I will inbox you in a bit.

The processing time of STAGE 2 in LVO is now 29 months, earlier it was 11 months...(Updated yesterday on their website)

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hi, i was wondering if someone could help me understand where my husbands application stands.
We submitted his file on Feb 02 2012, no action was taken after that, his status remained as application received... on June 2014 his file was transferred to London visa office. All this happened while we were both living in Pakistan. Now I am in Canada with my daughter and have contacted the MP of city and the LVO many times. The last email I received from them was for re medical, the 2nd fee and the new schedule A. Which I have sent them in Dec 2014. My husbands file has been in London for 8 months. Ive heard that LVO takes 11 months to process the case or has that been changed? Are we just waiting for passport request?

well, according to the CIC website update..now processing time is 29 months, (calculated on the basis : for the cases finalzied in 2014) ..
But I guess in ur case , u will get a reply before may 2015, as it seems officer working on ur file...ALL THE BEST!!

Guys LVO changed their timeline to 29 months!!! Does it mean people who apply as of today will have to wait 29 months or everyone?

My timeline.
App. Filed.............: 28-05-2014
File Transfer LVO...: 24-07-2014
Passport Req.........: Still Waiting
VISA ISSUED.........: Still Waiting
LANDED................: Still Waiting

This is a sad reality. You think with the election year they would reduce the time as it was painful enough waiting for your spouse. This is simply inhumane.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hi - I'm trying to quote but my msg is not uploading..

Need help -- My application was directly transferred at LVO on 25-April-2014 and I didn't do upfront medical. Alhumdulillah, I got medical request couple of days back and I also got an appointment. My question is that, that either my case will fall under 11 months process time or 29 months process time?? Any idea. Tnx
