what is polio certificate? Does everyone need that before leaving or what

pls go to any nearest govt. hospital with passport and you can get it on spot.....

I got an odd email from DELHIMEDICAL/MEDICAL @ international.gc.ca

Why would I need to send this to india when initially my passport submission request came from islamabad?? also it been three weeks since my passport was received in Islamabad.
Does anyone has faced similar request?

Apparently meds are submitted to Delhi visa office.

Hi guys!
I checked online for my hubby's status and it says decision made! But whats kind of concerning about is that it's only been 2 weeks since the file has been "in processing" and 3 days since they received his re-medical. Should i be worried? they said that they would contact him regarding the decision, but we havent received anything as of yet. What should we be expecting? Is this a good sign?

Medicals should remain valid till the applicant lands in canada, So as your medicals are near to expire or already expired they need new medicals to proceed with your application.

In the email they gave a 7 day time period for us to contact panel physicians. is that normal? First i thought i have 7 days to submit the meds. But then iom people corrected me on this... hope they are right

Medicals should remain valid till the applicant lands in canada, So as your medicals are near to expire or already expired they need new medicals to proceed with your application.

I am aware of that and Medical is valid therefore originally we got the request to submit the passport to Islamabad. But all of a sudden we need to get remedical even tough they have had our passport since Jan 14th. Its just confusing as it seems that they will definitely be taking more than 4 weeks that they originally proposed.

It is a good sign..
Also note that from IN PROCESS to DECISION made can even take a week. it depends...*usually 1 to 4.5 weeks* thats what group members have shared

What would be "An official English translation of Nikah Nama".
Is it NADRA issued marriage certificate that you get from Union council, stating bride & groom's names,CNIC, fathers name & CNIC & address etc both in Urdu & English etc. Or it's an English translation of Urdu nikah Nama(notarized)that in old days folks used to get for such purposes?

Official english translation by NOTARIZED officer (he would make an official translation and will state that its translated in English , with his STAMP and designation...

Nadra issue marriage certificate is just a CERTIFICATE....but its better to give both to CIC...

An official english translation would be a translation by registered translation company and then notarized. Further send them the Nikah nama of Nadra. Its better to get both of them attested from foreign affairs as well. Because when you get something attested from foreign affairs then there is no doubt about the accuracy and legitimacy of that document.
