Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah just received email that the process for my husband is done. They requested his Pass Port that they already have and wanted the Pass Port LOL.

I thank Allah a million times as in 11 days it would have been exactly 4 years we have been waiting its like all the tension and stress has left my body, its an amazing feeling.

We already contacted them to say you have all this info in our file with Pass Port, photos and height and weight.
I'm still in shock but I had this feeling today and now just must wait till they put the Visa in but at least now we know there is an end in sight In Sha Allah.

I pray you all get good news soon In Sha Allah and thank you all for all your prayers May Allah reward you all well In Sha Allah............

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hi, I hope someone can guide me on this. I am almost ready to submit this spousal sponsorship package to hopefully be reunited with my hubby ..... in the next 2-3 years :(

I have a few important questions to help me finish this up for submittal!! Please help if you can, I would be so grateful!

For the Generic Application Form for Canada, the section where he needs to provide my info, it requests a National Identity Document. I have listed my passport info in the section before this. What should I provide as a my National Identity Document?? I have a Canadian citizenship card however it does not list any issue/expiry dates. There is just a number on the front of the card. Any advice?

For the Residency Questionnaire, question 14 asks about any family members in Canada who might provide financial support to the applicant and sponsor upon their arrival in Canada. The thing is I am my husband’s sponsor and I already live and work in Canada. So should I provide a letter explaining this very fact and attach my letter of employment (with employer details) as proof?

For the Education Background/Work Experience Questionnaire, it states it is to be completed by applicants who claim children to be dependants over 22 years of age. —So between the two of us we have no children and no one over 22 years old who we claim as dependants. Does that mean he does NOT need to fill this form?

Sorry if I am asking questions with obvious answers, at this point, I am quite paranoid and don’t want to mess this up - thanks so much. ???

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

There are separate guides for each part i.e. (Sponsor, Applicant and country specific). Please thoroughly read them before filling the forms and you should have the guide open to each specific form when you are filling them.
1. Here the para wise answers to your questions:
The Generic Application Form i.e. IMM0008 has to be filled by your hubby (applicant) and all the information has to be his not yours. This means in the National Identity Document, he has to put info like Government issued ID card.

2. Residency Questionnaire does not apply to you, as you are the sponsor and the question clearly asks about any family member (i.e. other than a sponsor) just put N/A or leave it blank

3. Since you don’t have any dependent children, no need to fill that form.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

3. Does the dependants form not apply if my husband is currently financially providing for his Mother and (divorced) sister and her 10 year old son? He has 5 brothers whom intend to take over for providing for them once my husband is clear to come to Canada (insha'Allah).

Again no need to fill that as this condition is for dependent children of your own. Other relatives do not fall into this category. Please someone correct me if I am wrong!

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

I received an email this morning with two attached letters. The first one asks for the following but only the IMM1344 highlighted and second one specifically addressed to me with file No. requires the August version of IMM1344.
Extracts of first letter:
• Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM1344 08-2014 or later);
• Generic Application form for Canada (IMM0008 06-2014 or later); and
• Schedule A (IMM5669 12-2012 or later) – as opposed to IMM008 Schedule 1 (if applicable)

Extracts of second letter:
• You must provide a current and completed Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking (IMM1344) bearing signatures.
They have asked to send the form to this address
Application Intake – FCP
CPC ─ Mississauga / CTD ─ Mississauga
P.O. Box 6100, Station A / CP 6100, Station A /
Mississauga, Ontario
L5A 4H4

I guess on this address having P.O. Box number, courier cannot be send. But if I send through normal mail it will take lot of days from Pakistan (2 week, I suppose)

Question: Should I send on the above addressed as they have asked or courier it to 2 Robert Speck Parkway, Suite 300, Mississauga, ON, where I initially sent my package on August 6, 2014.

Seems they want the new forms from everyone.

Is the sponsor not in Canada anymore ??

Is there an option for sending express post using PakistanPost/CanadaPost ??

Courier address would have to be used if using courier service like fedex, ups, dhl, etc

Use Canada Post Xpresspost service.
