1. Expiry of visa is mentioned on the stamped visa page on PP (passport). She must have to enter Canada before the expiry date of visa.
2. You will receive COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence Document) along with the PP. This document does have the expiry date on it which basically corresponds to either the expiry of your stamped VISA or the expiry of your PP itself. Whichever expire first.

Thanks for the help. Although we have been waiting for a while for her to come to me in Canada the timing was a little off for us. I work in the Alberta oilfield and had some work related travelling planned for the new few weeks and wasn't sure if I should delay or not. I thought maybe she has to come to Canada asap.
Anyways

1.We received "" application for permanent residence on December 18, 2013.
2.We started processing "" application on March 3, 2015.
3.Medical results have been received.
4.A decision has been made on "" application. The office will contact "" concerning this decision.

Hey Guys,

I just received notes I ordered last month. I have noticed they are still stuck with eligibility. The last update was back in March, when the VO
raised a concern that I (sponsor) was not smiling in any of the photos, and assuming that I was not completely happy, which obviously is not the case. The VO put the file under further review. Is this something to be concerned about. If they send the file under review, does it take longer than usual to process. There have been no updates or comments after March

Also, is there a way I could clarify this by corresponding to the visa office.

Pretty much the same as me. Our eligibility assessment has been put under review ever since January and no update ever since according to our notes. However, according to our MP eligibility assessment was complete as of April and they have been working on background checks ever since which makes you question whether these notes are always upto date.

its almost a 2nd week. my medical is expired and not received request for re medical yet. its almost a year now

It takes time in doing background checks, a VO was working from Feb to May on my case just to pass the eligibility. Order notes so that you can be aware if they passed your eligibility or have sent your file for further review or interview queue.

I can understand VO sometimes make ridiculous comments in the notes when it comes to judging relationships, in my notes they say that:

"It is unusual in Pakistani culture that this is a love marriage but it is noted that they indicated that the match was agreed with both set of parents, who all attended the wedding and looks comfortable, PA and sponsor are of similar age and both well educated and so, if this had been an arrange marriage in traditional sense, the would have appeared to make sense culturaly."

Although they passed my eligibility regarding your case, you cannot clarify that now unless they ask you to clarify by sending them more recent proofs like chats, any trip information etc. So be prepared for that, also one possibility you cannot rule out is the interview. Please answer the following questions:

1. Have you visited your spouse in recent time after your file was transferred to LVO.??? if yes then voluntarily send pictures, proof of visit, tickets, receipts of gifts you took, pictures of places you visited with your spouse and all other proofs as soon as possible.
2. What is your time line.??
3. What does the notes say with regards to other checks.?
4. When is your medical expiring.?

So my wife picked up her original documents yesterday from TCS office by paying Rs. 1700 fees, I was expecting to see all the documents including forms and all the proofs that we sent, but whats received are the original documents, pictures, wedding cards only. As far as I remember during my case of parents and dependent sponsorship we received the whole set of documents we sent in 2007. Did anyone else received documents lately.?

file was in process/medical requested from london on march 2015 and decision made/Passport request was end of june. Medical was done end of march in Islamabad.

If your ecase is showing DM then its not that far to PPR (Passport request). When was it changed to DM? Do you know the date?

i applied in july 2014 and file got transferred in august 2014.

in regards to checks, notes say that medical passed, but it has expired already on June 4th. they are still stuck with eligibility and in notes VO has put file under further review, and have not started any other checks such as criminal and background checks.

Any idea what i could be expecting next?

i want to ask that i have to submit my passport tomorrow (after DM and request of passport). Email i received said that send passport, 2 pictures and Updated information form for each accompanying person (appendix A) attached.
The information form is PDF version and can not be edited so i have to fiil that form by hand or is it necessary to make it typed. Further should i fill information just about me (principal applicant) or also about my husband (partner or spouse) cz he will nt travel with me.


Any info plz help.

Aoa everyone . I am a march 2014 applicant. Got the sponsorship approval in May 2014. Since November 2014 my application is in process. We received some request somewhere in December asking English translation of nikah Nama which we submitted and then again in January 2015 they asked a statement from my husband regarding my medical health and where have we visited together and told us if they need remedical they will contact us but since then they have made no contact to us via email neither is there any update on my Ecas. I m very worried as it has been almost 5 months since their last contact and given my case has been in process since November I have no idea what's going on that's taking too much time. Also we checked our emails thoroughly and our lawyer has sent a case specific inquiry to which they said they will reply in a month I guess and no reply yet from their side. Please advice me what's the best course for me. Should I order notes side by side or just wait for case specific inquiry. Is it some background check that is taking so much time ? I m very concerned

Fill it with hand. Also, you do not need to fill the details of your sponsor.

You should order notes irrespective of any other thing. Case inquiry hardly gets answered.

Why don't the lawyers know if they should order notes or send an inquiry because clearly they dont respond to inquiries.
