probably the 2nd one i wonder y they would call though, my sis's husband had interview on jan 25 n they r still waiting for a decision to be made, they were told to wait 2 weeks they sent a email to lvo no response no contacted mp n no update either

Are interviews only made mandatory when the Immigration Officer wants to ascertain genuiness of the relationship or is there some randomness to it?

Can a seemingly very genuine relationship case still be called in for an interview?

The last I heard from them was in the first week of March and since then no news from them. They are indeed on hibernation mode.

May be they are doing background checks etc I am not sure I dont have access to GSM notes. I was wondering if linking my account to Gskeys would provide a bit more info..?

VO can ask for an interview, if they find anything suspicious in your file ( relationship, bank statements, school certificate or degree, work experience letters) Pakistani and Indian are more likely to be scrutinized than anyone in the world.
