Hello everyone, my wife received this e-mail from LVO on March 17th, 2015...exactly 1 month AFTER the re-med request:
Dear Applicant,
In order to continue processing your application, we require the additional documents listed below. Please send clear legible photocopies rather than the original documents unless otherwise specified. If the documents are not written in either English or French, please enclose a certified translation with a photocopy of the original document.
Sponsor's Residency
Or proof that your sponsor intends to reside in Canada when you become a Permanent resident


Now why would they ask for this when I am already approved as a sponsor? Maybe because I applied as a Canadian Citizen living excusivly outside Canada. But again I was approved as a sponsor last year in June by Mississauga so i don't see the point of them asking this again. I had already wrote a letter to them which was included in my initial application explaning the whole situation ...so they approved me but now again LVO is asking for thr same.

Has anyone else been through this kind of experience?

Well, you have to provide them with whatever they ask, no matter how many times they ask for it. Its a condition for the sponsor to move back to canada, once the applicant is granted a visa. All you have to do is, provide them with evedience that how and when will you move back. Have you applied for jobs? Did you get any offers? Also, accommodation details. Lease papers? Or if you plan to live with your relatives, get notarized letters from them,stating, that you will be living with them when you land until you find yourself proper accommodations. Convince them that you are fully prepared to move back as soon as the applicant recieves the visa. Hope that helps. Best of luck!

still waiting for ppr its been 45 days they received my orignal police certificates and 3 months of remedical

I had deleted all my junk emails earlier this month but then one applicant found remed request in his junk mail folder. So I was worried that I might have deleted email from LVO by mistake. So two weeks ago I sent an email to LVO that by mistake, I deleted my mails and I am not sure whether I have received any email from them or not. On Friday, I received a reply from LVO that they haven’t sent any correspondence to me so far. They also told me voluntarily that they received extra documents from me earlier this month and they have attached them to my file. Further they told me that my file is awaiting officer review. So this means they still haven’t touched my file which is a bit disheartening considering the fact that they have started communicating with September transfers.

i also in same case , mu file in process from january and remedical in feb 2015
my case is still in process but not any descion made
but in some cases, we observe the difference of just 15 days beween in process to DM

What was your PR visa's expiry date? How many days you had before you could land in Canada once you got COPR?

My ECAS status hasn't changed ever since i have received AOR.......I did receive an email from LVO on 9th Feb asking for additional docs which i furnished a month back but no response so farrrrr

my case is still in process but not any descion made
but in some cases, we observe the difference of just 15 days beween in process to DM

its ............................. long wait without any reason they updated my ecase and add new field there current home address one month back

I applied on Sep 22, 2014 and recd. by SA letter on Nov. 13, i think i should wait 2 more months before apply for another notes.

Can someone pls help me I have applied in April 2014 and file has transferred to LVO in May 2014 after that I haven't receive nothing from cic if I call to LVO to ask them what's going on with my file

I got contacted by my MP's representative today. She explained that the visa office cleared our file for all checks on our relationship legitamecy, they are now screening my wifes background (police checks, travel history etc). She also confirmed something that was suspected by most all along, if they ask for additional documents and/or proof the file gets pushed back a few months. They also in more less every case ask for a renewed police certificate as soon as it expires which propagates further delays. We are expecting them to request for another certificate in and around May.

Putaway means file has been scanned in their system. No need to worry about Putaway message.
