yea my MP said the same that everything has been completed and currently they are running security check, my MYCIC doesnt say anything about eligibility though. i wonder if my MP was referring to my eligibility and not my spouses:S

MYCIC still shows eligibility in process does yours say the same?

I have not access to myCIC, but in my notes it says passed... Any idea when you security checks were started?

Hi friends,

Need suggestions.

One of my friend living in Karachi - Pakistan facing following situation.

Got divorce last month.
Having 2 daughters, one 5 years old and younger 2 years old approx.
Elder one studying.
My friend resigned from his job and start spending full time with his daughters.
His family (father, mother, brother and sisters) all are Canadian citizen living in Vancouver CA.
Couple of month before his month and father came here in Karachi - Pakistan to help him in taking care of his daughters but parents are aged approx 55-60 years.
My friend's parents wants to bring my friend along with his 2 daughters in Canada.

Need your suggestions, what should his parents do to bring my friend along with his daughters in Canada?

He can come to study in Canada and after completing studies apply for PR, I know it is a long route but I am not aware of any other option. There are a few provinces that offer PR if your family lives there, you might want to explore those options too.

i tried everything to sign up mycic but is not working i did all procedures when ever i try to link my application it says not found this application wait 24 hrs ,the other thing is my ecus is not apdated till aprill 2016, but my wife visited mp late october she was told
eligibilty pass
criminality pass
medical pass
just waiting security since 1 first november,, is there any idea how many months should take security clearance.....i applied mid january 2015 ,already 23 months have passed,,,

Any record of attending dharnas and/or political meetings?

Did you ever make any threatening comments online on any forum(facebook, chat etc)

Have you ever taken "bhataas" for some party?

Attended any military or intelligence institution?

Let us know so maybe it could be these above things

Hi,

What I observed earlier when I applied under FSW the security and back ground checks take 2-6 month depending on the travel history of the applicant. Mine took approx. 3 months even though I visited more than 10 countries.
So hopefully you will hear back soon.

Just have been part of govt organization for 2 years.. and nothing applies as u mentioned
