Sorry...I don't know why...they say they send someone every quarter...but it takes about a year after they put you in the que.

This is so ridiculous! im sorry that those in the interview queue have to wait for so long. CIC is so heartless.

they conducted your interview after 1 year? why??? does that mean that LVO sends their officers to Pak once a year?

they do area trips once every quarter, but remember that there's a queue for applicants that need interviews. area trips are costly and time consuming, so they can only interview a small number of applicants during each trip.

an applicant may get put into the interview queue today, but they might not get their turn until several months from now.

yeah, cold and heartless...

i have one query. i forwarded additional documents received by security on reception (as per UPS Status) on 02-12-2016 as required by LVO. When my status will be updated or i will be aware of from LVO that additional documents have been received by them.

It depends. It's never updated on ecas. But if you have mycic account and the document were requested there then it will be updated.

I agree with you. This sh*t gave me stomach ulcers and I'm still recovering from that.

I'm fortunate they didn't call my wife in for an interview, but the wait and the uncertainty can be too much sometimes.

Thank you so much...I applied March 2015 maybe...and May 2015 was transferred to london...In September we were placed in Interview que and November of this year had interview...I don't know how long background checks took.
