Are you speaking from experience or just guessing? Could a member who has submitted Appendix A clear this matter.

From what I understand it just the sponsored individuals who are getting visa issued on Pakistani passport that input names and passport info in Appendix A.

Thats correct only the PA information goes on the Appendix A.

@Landing_PR mera shak thora thora sahe ho raha hai. Wmate is another dec applicant with a canadian kid and still waiting for ppr.

OK so why is it that they have issues with applicants with kid(s)? Shouldn't that make it more easier and simpler for us to squeeze through?

Maybe because once the applicant enter Canada he can't be deported. Conditional PR is for people without children they have to live with the sponsor for 2 years. I can be wrong but now i see 5 nov/dec applicants with kids who are stuck :/

This is just so ludicrous, if you ask me. If anything, people with kids have a responsibility by being both parents at the same time, when their spouse is not in the country. On this basis, we should've been granted PPR sooner, than delaying it. Ugh, making me so angry!!

I need guidance as to when can we link the application.

Also regarding just checking the status of application without linking it:

I got AOR for my application submitted on November 9th 2016. In the letter it is mentioned that I can check the application status using UCI. But when I use my UCI number, it shows me my earlier PR application status which has been completed. Should I be using my spouse (principal applicant UCI) ?

also take a look at how many of the approved cases included spouses with children. there is no pattern here. appreciate how helpful you've been on the forum, but jumping to conclusions like this only creates stress...

I know its more information, but I have been pushing to increase columns on the sheet to be able to get more comparable information. I believe we should add columns for all the rasums, Nikah only case and dependents as well. I think its hard for any new person to judge there case since the sheet only shows very limited information. If nobody is willing to do the work, I volunteer to do it. ;D ;D

you can link your application with PA details in GCKey, and in ECAS you can put the application number instead of UCI.

Only PA will be able to link application to their account, not the Sponsor.

1. Log in with GC Key account.
2. Permanent Residence > Family Class (Spouses)
2. Application Number and Family Name - Copy/pasted application number from email (including the F) and entered PA's last name.
3. City of Birth - I entered 1 space (hit spacebar once)
4. Country of Birth - Selected PA's country of birth
5. Passport Info - Did not enter any passport info
6. Other Application Info - Filled out the other application info as per our application and put '2' as the number of members in the application. 1 sponsor, 1 PA, no dependents.
