So discouraging these MPs I tell you. The other MP didn't even bother to respond. Anyways all I can do is wait at this point.

yeah, they are discouraging.

i know for a fact that the pak average processing time provided on the site is inaccurate due to files that were processed in islamabad up until august 2013, but even then, it still kinda hurts whenever they tell me to wait 24 months. i've had many lengthy conversations with my MP's staff over the past few months, and their lack of knowledge is disturbing for someone in their position.

its that my passport is getting expired in dec 2016 n i want to renew it...what is the procedure for it while living in canada?

Canadian passport or Pakistani? If its Pakistan then go to the near Pakistan consulate. Take old passports and NICOP woth you. In case you don't have NICOP then you need to get it first and then they will apply for your passport.

i have a gut feeling that you'll get through this in good time. for you, it's just a matter of waiting a little while longer.

also in my opinion, having one TRV refusal from after the sponsorship app was filed is not a red flag, it's actually a plus point. if i wasn't so tired i would go into the forum history and dig out a case where an applicant was asked the following question during an interview: "if your spouse couldn't visit you in pakistan, why didn't you apply for a TRV instead"?

He's right landing pr. My trv refusal is on our gcms notes and it's a good thing. My husband tried to come for the birth of our child but it didnt workout. Theres evidence tht we tried while they go through our pr application. What did work out was gng on mat leave and being with him for most of the process!

Alhamdulliah...things all fall into place. Hang in there.

i didn't provide separate translation of nadra issued birth certificate because it was in both english and urdu and you don't need to send nadra issued marriage certificate you need to send urdu nikah namma and translation from a certified translator.

Do you mean dat Urdu Nikkah nama which was being hand written by Molvi Sahban??
Or I can send the Marriage certificate issued by Nadra which has the local body stamp and its in both English & Urdu?

Any Nov/ Dec applicant who got the add doc email with initials (CS) ?? what is meant by these initials ... Is this visa officer initials??

Yes urdu nikah namma written by molvi is required. They don't accept the Nadra issued marriage certificate. Urdu Nikah namma plus translation from a certified translator. You can find a translator at any Kachehri.

Wot about educational documents? And do we need to get it attested from HEC and Ministry of Foreign Affairs? I did it for mine as I applied under FSWP. Do these also required for family sponsorship?
Moreover how to get appointment for upfront medical examination?

Yes...we got those intials on the email too. Just sent our police certificate today actually.
