I am a march 2016 applicant. I got decision made a few days ago. Now waiting on PPR, while visiting my wife in Pakistan. My sister is a Jan 2016 applicant and she got Decision made as well.

Nope. When we were applying he was there for 4 weeks. It would have expired anyway..hmmm

Yes I filled my application at 20 January 2016 and received AOR on 1 march.yes he let me proceed because it was accepted by cic as the status showed medical results received.it was meant to expire in feb

So your file was transferred to LVO on March 1/16.

If you received a re-med request now, this means they are started to look at (and process) December 2015 - January 2016 applications?

Guys, I am thinking of voluntarily submitting some additional proof to IRCC from a trip that I made to visit my wife recently. In the meantime, we also applied for a TRV for her to visit me but that got refused (as expected). Should I mention the refusal of the TRV in my information update as well, or is this something they'll see in their records anyway?

Looks like it, though it's kind of hard to believe seeing that there are Oct applications open still. It could also be that they just have a clerk (not a VO) just vetting the applications for missing info. Aniakbar's medical seems to have expired just one month into the wait, so a remed request was definitely in the order.

this is unlikely. yes, they do have clerks that check applications for missing documents, but this happens immediately after the file transfer. requests for remedicals and additional documents (e.g. police certificates) always come from visa officers.

i also find it a little hard to believe, but this wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened.

It says we started processing ur permanent resident application on 24 March 2016.
