Aniakbar0: Are you a Jan 2016 applicant (or was that a typo perhaps)? That would mean your meds were expiring in only about a month after you applied. And your lawyer let your proceed anyway?

Matheeno, Flx2015, Usama893 they got some request by cic that is positive movements on their apps
and positives for us too who they are waiting their turns...
but i would to know about mr pejafor3 he is from gujranwala belong to my city
and the mr landing pr he always make warm to other applicant by words
they both are quite since the december application opened
My pray for all the pakistani applicants who they are facing hard time to be with their families in canada
and remind us too in your prays when you reach to your destinations with all accomplished

turns out my wife got a doc request for a police cert like 30 minutes after the remed request. i thought it was kinda weird for them to send a remed request without asking for anything else, especially since her upfront medical is valid for another 2 months. i sent the police cert with the applications, i'm not surewhy they're asking for it again... but whatever, no big deal i guess?

so yeah Landing_PR, if you don't get any doc/remed requests, you might be one of the lucky few who get a FLAWLESS VICTORY.

it's very likely they've already opened your file, or at least are going to open it within the next few days. don't be nervous . go to an MP next friday for an update perhaps?

btw if someone would've told me a few days ago that i wouldn't be getting a massive doc request asking for more proof, i would not have believed them. all this stress and frustration has been making me imagine all kinds of things that weren't true, and i guess it's the same for all us who have to go through this... maybe some more than others. don't let it get you down.

For the guys that got a police cert. request, will you be re-sending the original police cert. or applying for a new one and sending it instead?

New one. CiC is pretty specific.
This is the request lvo sent out to my husband.

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to
continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:
 Police Certificate: Provide a Police Certificate from the UAE

Yes I filled my application at 20 January 2016 and received AOR on 1 march.yes he let me proceed because it was accepted by cic as the status showed medical results received.it was meant to expire in feb

Police certificates are valid only for six months mostly they ask male candidates to provide the updated police certificate.

Didn't you send the UAE police certificate with the application? You're supposed to send police certificate from every place where you have lived for more then 6 months.

Police certificates are valid only for six months mostly they ask male candidates to provide the updated police certificate.

oh ok. my wife's cert was nearly expired when i filed the app, so that is probably the reason.
