I know what you mean. Hang in there. Being on this forum makes you realize that you're not alone in this journey.

True but with doc requests for November recently gave me hope that CIC is *finally* working in full gear to make up for the lost time. This quiet week makes me think otherwise. :-X

too early to tell maybe.

worst case scenario is that they've gone back to their previous trend plus 1 month due to the lost time. i.e. 9 months to DM.

Just wondering, I've been reading the previous posts in this thread, and it seems that a lot of people end up getting doc requests. And its mostly common things like: proof of communication, more pictures (outings after marriage, marriage pics, etc), marriage certificate/FRC copies, etc.

I would assume that most people include these documents when they initially submit their file.

Have you contacted your MP? I've updated your spreadsheet with the interview info.

I'm sure a lot do but again, with CIC it's a hit and miss. You don't know what you might get asked. Translated Nikkanama, more communication proof, pictures, remeds, etc.

MP did response well she said contact with lawyer they can check your case and send inquiry. but its hard for us my wife and daughter visited this march for one month and stay with us i have sent this all and some more pics but there is not update.

i have sent pregnancy reports birth certificate of my daughter their visit more than 400 pages of chats but still officer is not satisfy.

In November applicant 3 people got Additional Document request . Anyone got PPR ?

Doesn't hurt to have a letter from the MP. However, there are no guarantees with CIC especially for TRVs.

Yeah that is why i dont want to hurt myself in case i got rejected for TRV. plus i assume that we are going to hear something(document request/DM) probably in next month inshaALLAH so applying for TRV at this stage is not a good decision. My husband visited MP yesterday. the MP asked him to go to Pakistan and visit your spouse or apply for TRV, both things have positive impact on the case. but i think we should wait for 50-60 days before we make a decision.

Exactly! At this point applying for trv is a waste of $200 and the hassle. I applied in March and got rejected after 3 months of waiting for a response. But I was relived that I didn't get banned as many were getting banned over errors in applications etc.

Best bet, a visit.

If all else fails, we can wait, pray and bug MPs.
