just got my passport back with visa stamped. Finally Alhumdulillah . The whole procedure from submitting file to this took almost 1 year and 1 month

You passports cant be sent to London Visa Office. Its illegal and what did lvo replied to you in the email? Best wishes for you

I wrote it in my post. they replied that they have stamped visa on June 1 so allow time for delivery

Anyway i got a call from VAC karachi that my passport is ready to be collected. will collect it tomorrow inshallah

8-10 months are few cases... Majority of the cases are still taking 12-15 months. You can see from all the 2015 applicants time-line the average time.

Last year there was a boost in application processing due to changing in government which happens everytime there are elections held. People who applied close to elections dates got DM within 4 months whereas people who applied before and after elections are still waiting to get DMs.

not entirely correct.

it's true that there was a temporary boost in processing between october-december 2015, because i see lots of quick DMs during that time, and it's also true that some early 2015 applicants are still waiting for some unknown reason. for both these reasons, my 8-10 month average is based off DMs given from february 2016 onward. the data below is pulled from the spreadsheet (sorted by DM date before calculating the average).

260 days = 8.54 months

with all that said, there's one thing we can be sure of: the recent DM blitz we saw during election time has led LVO to clear out much of their backlog.

You have not heard about remeds or additional docs?

Additional documents sent on dec 24 after that no contact no remedical etc

yes there are others like you who are way past the average. i'm sorry to hear that, and i can't really say why they're taking their time with your case.

all i can see is that you had a doc request back in november 2015, and that you haven't heard back since. can you check with your MP to make sure you're not being scheduled for an interview? when was the last time you ordered gcms notes, and what did you see in there?

I am applicant my wife sponsored me i heard that involving mp is not a good thing to do bcoz of the timeline our lawyer send them email but they did not reply back and never ask for GCMS notes i told my lawyer but he is saying we have to wait when they update us we will inform you

Conditional Resident question:

1) if the spouse is granted visa 2 yrs before but entered in canada after 2 years...will that still count as conditional resident or permenant resident

Hey Flx,

Remember last week when we voluntarily submitted our additional documents? I just got an email from CIC: "We have received your supporting documents and have attached them to your application. If further information is needed, the responsible office may contact you". Did you get a confirmation yet?

I need to submit my flight tickets for July when I'm visiting Pakistan Inshallah :-X

I think I'm going to wait till the last week of June for any possible correspondence. If still nothing then I'll most likely call my MP before ordering notes.
