Hey Hasan
I find first GCMS and second is Email. As you know from your experience the email helped you and the email also helped me to get a interview date faster. There is one thing changed in last couple of months. Before when you used to email them from CIC website, "case Specific Inquiry" The email used to go straight to your visa office. They used to take their time to replay back and all used to say its in process which you can see already. They new system it doesn't do that anymore. Now it goes to Ottawa Canada immigration and they ask your visa office for the update on behalf of you and they give you better answer and pretty fast. Recently i did 2 email and they are really quick. You get response in 1-2 days. This is my opinion. Thanks
Hi zee
Could I please get the email address for CIC that you use to mail them since they are not responding to my email. Probably I'm using the wrong one.
Thanks

Hello Hasan,

IN simple matter I think GCMS NOTE is better because you can get it from your home. In GCMS note you can get everything about your application within 30 days.

If you have done your interview and do not get any result. You request GCMS note but do not get your proper answer that time you can go PM office.

Regards

Farhana

Farhan did you see the Process time from Singapore is now 12 month for spousal sponsership , wow new applicant will be very lucky
Farhana could you please check from CIC website it show the process time is 12 month for Singapore visa office and 27 month for pakistan
islamabad visa office ,but i am waiting for interview

I donno if they will respond to this email or not. They changed the direction of emails for last 2 months. Even before when i used to email they used to go to your address but now when you do Case Specific Inquiry, it gets redirected straight to Ottawa Citizenship and Immigration. I used Case Specific Inquiry last 2 times and they replied in 5 days.

Now all the emails go to Citizenship_and_Immigration_Canada@cic.gc.ca

Hey sjgolfer014

Its 17 months. First option you put Family Sponsorship, 2nd Option you put Spouse Common law living outside Canada. 3rd one is always CANADA. Because you are the sponsor and you are applying from Canada. You don't Choose Singapore because you are not applying from Singapore. Singapore is the visa office for Bangladesh but not applying from there. Thanks

It is now Country specific and not visa office specific. The 12 months you are seeing is for the country of Singapore. Vietnam is 23 months, Thailand 29 months, Cambodia 26 months, Bangladesh 25 months, and Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, Brunei, and Timor Leste all 17 months. All of these countries are processed through Singapore VO.

Does anyone have an idea what kind of application get interview?

Incorrect. You do not choose Canada. An Outland application an application for PR that is applied for from the country of the applicants citizenship or residence. If the PA is Thai then you would refer to the Thailand timeline. The only thing being applied for in Canada is the sponsor eligibility. The exception being, if the PA is in Canada and you file Outland then and only then would you select Canada.

I second that. So for Bangladesh it will be 25 months...

So now what would be my process time as my wife submit our application in mississauga office in canada , but i live in thailand
so the 3rd colum would be Country Specific is Canada right bcause my spouse and daughter live in Canada so it should be 17 month ?

If you are the applicant and are a Thai national living in Thailand filing Outland with Singapore VO your timeline will be the Thailand timeline of 29 months. Keep in mind that this is simply the number of months it takes SVO to process 80% of applicants within and with a strong application processing time will be shorter than posted times.

Dear Goodlife Fitness,

Application contains red flags ( second marriages, quick marriage, unclear/missing information in application etc...) has the potential for interview. The bottom line is, IF THE CASE OFFICER FEELS THAT YOUR MARRIAGE IS NOT GENUINE (BASED ON INFORMATION YOU PROVIDED), YOU WILL END UP HAVING AN INTERVIEW.

Hope it helps...
