Any updates on VFS status??? I did get a good deal for my spouse on Saudi Airlines for 70K bdt but its on May 29th. I am still hoping we will get our passport before that.

Hey Hasan.
I usually convert the scan pictures to PDF and put all files in 1 file. Converting to PDF it reduces size a lottttt. But You can always send by DHL. It's not a problem at all. In that case just send everything by DHL including your police clearance. Hope it helps

Hi Sam,

You should have waited to recieve the passport back before confirming the flight.

I hope you get it before then but I also hope it's a refundable ticket if you don't get it in time..


Also booking directly through the airline is more expensive. Every time I visit my wife I use Flighthub. I've never had any issues and the tickets I buy from United/All Nippon are always a lot cheaper than through the airline.

Dear Sam,

No new update. I find Saudi airline ticket 67000 TK on September 9, 2016. When I get back my passport may be I will buy Saudi airline ticket.

I hope you get it before then but I also hope it's a refundable ticket if you don't get it in time..

I agreed 100% with you. Just a quick info, Liiaa's VO is Bogota.

I still think they will let her know within 8 weeks so Liiaa should apply for her GCMS notes and be positive and have some patience.

The good news is around the corner....

I did ask her for a timeframe but she said she didn't know, I know bogota doesn't usually take long after an interview so I'm hoping I don't have to wait another 4 weeks my husband orders notes last week so hope they can shed some light.....

What did the interviewer say at the end of your interview? Did they mention any time that they would inform you by a specific time?

If not, you can email them to know your status. But best thing would have been to obtain your GCMS notes to know about your status, You can do it now.

Hi Hasan, I did ask her but she said she didn't know.... My husband ordered notes last week I believe so hope to be getting them soon in case I still don't hear from them.... Husband said we would wait and if we didn't hear from them this week that he would call e-mail them!

Maybe I could have but I dont want to take a chance cause I wont be there and I dont really trust airport authority. As soon as they saw someone new flying for the first time they tend to give the individual hard time...

You people are doing great job. You people helping tendency influence me to write those applicant what I know. Especially Sam I really surprise when yesterday you willing to tell me to help pathdfinder. You do great in this forum. I think if we all people give some time in this immigration forum it will great help those Bangladeshi applicant. We four people also face our interview and we know how difficult to face the interview. After interview we wait for re medical request and the waiting time is very painful. After re medical request, we wait for passport request it will more difficult to wait. When the passport request comes to us, we wait for visa issued. All this process is really painful.

Hope all silent applicants write their experience and join this forum and your experience make other interview easy and simple.

Q- Who is the background checks conducted by?

Background checks 99% are conducted by the CSIS & RCMA.. and they do it within one month...

IN NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES & STRAIGHT FORWARD CASE
Here I will explain you how all this process goes...
1. After CHC-I receives your application they send you AOR which contains file number and estimated process time..

2. They open your file at least after 9-10 months for the first review

3. They send you additional documents request IMM, Supplementary forms etc along with updated PCC report.

4. They send you re-medical request within a month after sending additional documents (in some cases they will send re-medicals along with PPR)

5. They do your back ground checks from CSIS & RCMP & CBSA.

6. After completion of background checks they forward file to a decision making officer

7. Within ONE month decision is made 99% PPR

8. Passport Back with visa within 2 weeks.

(ENTIRE PROCESS MAY TAKE FROM 14-16 MONTH BOTH FOR WIFE AND HUSBAND CASES)


IN SOME COMPLICATED CASES OR DOUBTFUL CASES

Here I will explain you how all this process goes...

1. After CHC-I receives your application they send you AOR which contains file number and estimated process time..

2. They open your file at least after 9-10 months for the first review

3. They send you additional documents request IMM, Supplementary forms etc along with updated PCC report.

BUT ALSO A LETTER WITH SOME OBJECTION, EITHER RUKHSATI OR ANYTHING ELSE

4. They send you re-medical request within a month after sending additional documents (in some cases they will send re-medicals along with PPR) (Plus Objection Letter) and they wait to resolve that objection either by conducting an interview of applicant or by getting additional supporting documents (i.e. more proofs, pictures, phone bills, letters, cards,travel etc) which takes at least 3-4 months extra

5. They do your back ground checks from CSIS & RCMP, CBSA.

6. After completion of background checks they forward file to a decision making officer (If they don't find anything suspicious in background)

7. Within ONE month decision is made depends on background check results

8. Passport Back with visa within 2 weeks.

(ENTIRE PROCESS MAY TAKE FROM 20 - 24 MONTHS IN BOTH HUSBANDS & WIFE CASES)

Q- What if I see Decision Made on my applicant spouse's ECAS before he/she was requested for Passport (PPR) ?

If this happens for your PR application ECAS (NOT Sponsorship eligibility application status on ECAS) usually at the end of your case processing of your file over a year after being transferred to Islamabad then sorry to say but that could mean that your application was refused.
