They took my interview 1 hour 15 min and in the interview I speak in Bangla. Because they provide an interpreter. When they ask all the questions the officer said I want to say something? Later they said stay here and that time they call my mother-in-law. They ask my mother-in-law some question like-

1. Why I not live with them?

2. My spouse knows me before my marriage?

3. What is the reason of my spouse divorce?

Then the officer took my two form and police clearance and she said she will let me know later.

After one month later 14 April 2016 they took my husband interview over phone. They ask my husband questions like-

1. What is your wife date of birth?

2. What is the reason of your wife divorce

3. What the reason of his Divorce?

4. Why you marry a divorce girl?

5. You are Canadian you can get a single girl for your marriage and why you marry her?

6. Do you think her previous marriage divorce reason can happen in your present marriage?

7. Are your wives your relative?

8. Why your marriage is so quick?

9. Do your mom and dad ever come to Canada?

10. Do you ever go to USA and Why?

11. Did your spouse parents look for other person to marry her daughter that time?

12. What is your future plan?

13. Proof your marriage is genuine?

The interview took time 16 mins and the officer required the financially support document.

My timeline is like such.

1. [Dec 16, 2014] Mailed application
2. [Dec 18, 2014] XPRESSPOST deliver confirmation
3. [Mar 03, 2015] Received CIC confirmation of package received (almost 90 days wait then)
4. [Mar 11, 2015] Received CIC letter saying I am approved as SPONSOR
5. [Mar 30, 2015] WIFE email received letter from CIC saying PR application received Mar 16, 2015
6. [Jul XX, 2015] Wife receives email informing she is on the interview queue (wait for date upto 2 years)
7. [Feb 02, 2016] Receive letter saying interview set for Mar 1, 2016. You MUST reply and accept
8. [Mar 01, 2016] Interview date. (Interview letter said to bring updated docs and criminal record check)
9. [Mar 01, 2016] After interview. Receive email for Re-Medical
10. [Present Jun 1, 2016] ... Waiting game. No update on ecas. No passport request.

As you can see in at #5. File transferred to Singapore on Mar 16, 2015 but she received update letter 2 weeks later.

After #5. It appears to be about 3-4 months roughtly once it was in singapore that she got a letter saying she is now on the interview queue list. Remember letter is generic and says it can take upto 2 years just to get your interview date.

Remember once an interview date is set. Accept it no matter what, DO NOT try to re-arrange another date.

Update to above.
- Mar 2/16 - Remedical spots shadow again in cheat xray. Sputum test required again. Sputum test takes about 2 months.
- May 30/16 - Called IOM medical and was informed another chest xray for Jun 10
- Jun 10/16 - Xray proves inactive TB. Medicals results uploaded.
- Jun 28/16 - still no updates. Ecas says updates on Tuesday
- Friday Jul 1. ECAS changes to "decision made" BUT no updates to entries
- Mon Jul 4th. Passport request email right at 12:11am EST time.

Waiting sucks but did not even once nag the visa office nor MP. If you have nothing to hide, then there is no fear. But remember you accepted the wait time before starting.

-CIC wait time at time i applied 34 months.
-Interview queue email received at about 8 months. Letter said 2 years.
-Got interview at about 8 months later

Note. I do NOT check the forums. I may or may not answer questions. As with other members, i am just posting my timeline for others to see progress. It does not guarantee yours will be the same. My younger bro submitted his application 3 months after mine. Bypassed interview. Finished everything in 6 months.

I faced my interview and again one month later my husband faced interview over phone and within 4 days later I got re medical request. After re medical I got passport request within 11 days later and got my passport with visa after 46 days later.

You are right every case is different. Here many people got their re medical within 7 days later and got passport request 10 days later. 2013 and 2014 applicants are sufferer because every process is delay for them. But 2015 applicant are lucky because they call for interview very quick and also got passport request very quick.

Is your child a Canadian citizen? If your child has a Canadian parent, the child doesn't need to be sponsored and you should apply for citizenship and passport. However, the child would still need to be entered into the family information form.

If the child is from previous marriage/relationship of the PA and is not Canadian, this child MUST be added to the application and undergo a medical exam or the child can never be sponsored and will be excluded from the family class.

Not declaring the child is misrepresentation. Your lawyer has threatened your entire application and personally I feel this could very well be the basis for the interview.

The child needs to be added to the application as a non accompanying dependant. You need to provide very good evidence that there is no way that you can have the child medically examined as well as a notarized declaration from the applicant that they understand that this means the child will be excluded from the family class and they won't ever be able to sponsor the child under any circumstances.
