Our file reached SVO at 6 January and we will get the interview letter request at 8 June (I got the letter in my hand around 20 something June)

Can you share what your relationship profile looks like and what proofs you sent?

my spouse wrote email to cic and they send standard email that application is on interview que

I know interview waiting time is very painful. To live apart from dearest one is more painful. If the visa office gives you 21 months may be you will get your interview letter within 17 or 18 months later.it means you have to wait 5 or 6 months more. To me the visa office observes your relation. Once upon a time your wife withdraws your application that’s why you need to wait more time to get a interview letter. Your application is very straight forward but the main problem is your wife withdraws your application at the end of the time. That’s why the visa office has a doubt with your relation. I know you send much relationship proof to the visa office but the visa office may be still doubt some point.

My opinion in your application has no difficulty but you have to face difficulties in one question the immigration officer will ask you why your wife wants to withdraw the application? You need to very well prepare for that. Otherwise your application has no problem.

I know now a day many people call for their interview within 8 or 10 month later. But your case is different from them because your wife withdraws the application at the end of the final time. So you need to wait more 5 or 6 month.

I sent you a PM with the evidence we sent. Yes, they sent the letter AND updated eCAS on the same day (maybe they're getting more efficient these days)

If your lawyer did not mention that the principal applicant has a child from his previous marriage that’s mean misrepresentation. When I get my interview letter there I see in this interview letter they mention if anything changes like address, telephone number or any kind of change inform them.

Supposed applicant faced the interview and that day the immigration officer find out that the principal applicant has a child and it did not mention in the application your case will 100% refused.

Find a good lawyer and explain all thing in the visa office otherwise your case will refused by immigration officer. An honest explanation will save your application from refuse.

If principal applicant explain the interview day it will refuse because immigration officer all the time ask the question and we people answer it. We have no option to explain anything but if immigration officer wants the explanation we bound to explain it.

It is wise to explain it before your interview. If you explain it there is no difficulty in your interview. If you not explain before your interview the immigration officer must question more and the chance of refusal is more. Tell your lawyer that you want to explain that principal applicant has a child in the visa office and how can you explain it. Hope your lawyer will help you.

For Simple mistakes Four Bangladeshi applicant refused by immigration officer based on true story.

First applicant:

The principal applicant went for his interview. The immigration officer asked him 8 questions. The applicant answers seven questions properly but the applicant did not answer the eight question answer. The immigration officer asked the applicant----

1. What is your sponsor Canadian home address?

The principle applicant answered------------

Ans: I don’t know the address because recently my sponsor moves the new house.

The immigration officer refused the applicant because the applicant did not answer the sponsor home address. Applicant should know any kind of change of sponsor like-- telephone number, home address, job address or any kind of change.


Second applicant:

One wife applicant went for interview. This is her second marriage and she has a child from her previous marriage.. The immigration officer asked many questions of the applicant. The immigration officer asked the applicant-------------

1. Why you marry your sponsor?


The applicant was a very shy person and answered------------


Ans: I marry my sponsor because my child needs a father that’s why I got married.


The immigration officer refused the applicant in the basis of this question answer. If the applicant answer in this way--------------


I got married because I need a person as my life partner and my parents also support me to marry this person. Or she answers this question without shy and elaborately may be she is not refuse by immigration officer. Later this case goes to ADR and that time they answer the right way and they won the ADR.


Third Applicant:


Husband and wife both went to face the interview and they have a baby from their marriage. The immigration officer asked lot of questions both. The immigration officer ask the principle applicant-------------

1. What is your marriage date?


The principle applicant answered ------------


Ans. My marriage date is 10 January 2014.


The same question asked the sponsor----------

2. What is your marriage date?


The sponsor answered----------------


Ans: my marriage date is 15 January 2014


Later the immigration officer refused the applicant and told them marriage is not genuine. The applicant told the nikha nama date and sponsor told the marriage ceremony date. Applicant nikha nama and marriage ceremony date is different. But in our Muslim marriage we should mention our nikha nama date as our marriage date.


Forth Applicant:

The applicant went to face the interview and this is applicant second marriage. The immigration officer asked a lot of question and the interview took 2 hour. The immigration officer asked the applicant-----------

1. Before marriage how long you know you sponsor?

The applicant answered-----------

Ans: I know my sponsor 3 month before my marriage.


The same question crosses check with the applicant father. The immigration officer calls the father and asked the father------------

1. Before marriage how long your daughter knows her sponsor?


The father answered the officer---------------


Ans: My daughter knows him 1 year before her marriage.


The immigration officer told the applicant your answer and your father answer is not same. 3 weeks later the applicant got the refusal letter that the marriage is not genuine.

If you declare that applicant has a child and the child is 18 years old you need to pay 450 Canadian dollars. If your applicant child is 18 years old he/she face the interview with applicant. If the child is not 18 years, he/she is not face the interview.

You do not need to fill that form.

You need to redo the IMM0008 form and add the child there. You also need to redo IMM5406 and add the child there.

IMM0008DEP is for additional dependants when you have more than 5.

You do not need to fill that form.

You need to redo the IMM0008 form and add the child there. You also need to redo IMM5406 and add the child there.

IMM0008DEP is for additional dependants when you have more than 5.
