Hello everyone!.

I am a July 25th 2017 applicant and I just looked "ECAS" And on my wife's "ecas" says: application sponsorship status "decision made", Permanent residence application status "in process", in my ECAS says "in progress". What does all that mean?

I really appreciate all the answers. Good luck to everyone that has been going through this for a long time!

they are done with the application on the sponsor side, they're probably still working on the applicant side but sometimes it's not 100% accurate. However have you received eligibility passed? Your wife have received SA? keep your eyes on your emails and Mycic account too!!

Thanks for your reply. We haven't heard anything from our lawyer, I am assuming, they haven't sent any emails. At least that sounds promising .

I feel like at least Sponsor approval they had sent to your lawyer because of "decision made" on your wife's side he just didn't send to you yet hahah :)

Feb 2017 applicant. STILL NOTHING!!! I hate this, and I don't understand why it's taking so long. Radio silence since May 3, and when I sent a webform asking what is happening because it's been well over 12 months and to contact them if it has been over the processing time, I got the same bullshit response that they are still processing my application.

You may need to involve your MP.

I have been in contact with my MP for the past couple of months, and they have been helpful. But there is only so much they can do. It just seems like my application is cursed, they have lost or misplaced documents, "forgot" to send emails/letters, many other problems. Now I can't even get an answer as to why it's taking so long

Landed today in Etobicoke! It's super officially over!

The interview was at 10:00 and we got there at 8:45, the lady at the reception was nice and told us we were so early but gave us the ticket. Then we waited approximately an hour. Finally we met our agent at the counter (disappointing, I was hoping a more personal approach in a room! It felt like being in a bank :p), gave her all the documents and she confirmed some information, which she had wrong: according to their records I first came to Canada in 2014 (but I came in 2011). Very weird. After fixing this on the CoPR, she told my wife about the 36 months undertaking and asked me the usual questions about crimes, dependents, etc. then congratulated me and gave me the CoPR to sign. Then we went a few counters over to get my new SIN. DONE!!! The interview took about 15 mins.

OMG!!!! I JUST RECEIVED AIP!! I'M FUCKIN CRYING!! hahaha

Hi everyone!
We just received our landing interview request for July 25 in Vancouver :D!

I have a question regarding travel outside Canada before receiving the PR card. The letter says:
"If you cannot attend this interview and/or have pre-booked travels outside of Canada in the 90 days following your final determination for PR interview, please contact us."

We are set to travel on August 21 out of Canada, would we be able to travel with his country's passport with OWP or will that not be valid anymore? I really don't want to reschedule, wanting to know our options.

Thanks everyone!

After the landing the owp won't be valid anymore... what you can do is change your way back to canada through USA,from USA you guys drive to canada and then you can cross the border with the letter "confirmation of PR", but it is only valid if you are driving a private car (rent car is ok), you can't cross by bus.. I don't know if you are in the facebook groups, there are a few posts abou it over there :)

"Some examples of private vehicles include, but are not limited to: a car, truck, motorcycle, or recreational vehicle that you own, borrow, or rent. It is a vehicle not available for public use."

Hi all
I've received Eligibility passed and Decision Made status on both sponsor and applicant. But never received any Sponsor Approval letter as such. Is it normal? Also, after how long usually does one get interview letter after the DM step? if everything goes well, my landing office would be Calgary.
