can i ask .. had they started reviewing your eligibility on CIC before you got the mail, and if so how long had it been like that?

As I was super anxious about it,I looked Mycic yesterday 3x and nothing... today is showing "we're reviewing..." and the AIP letter is dated as today! Ecas is still showing "In process" for sponsor and "application received" for my side

ok so it happens just like the OWP application and comes within hours of the mail. good to know thanks, im the 17th so probably next week before i hear anything. Yeah i dont think some officers bother with ECAS until the final step, whereas i think CIC is probably automated as soon as you touch the digital file and tell it what your doing it updates

Yeah it will probably change directly to decision made,I'm so excited!!! yours in on your way!!

Got DM on sponsorship side, applicant’s now says in process. I got a request for additional documents (court documents to show the case is disposed for a DUI 20 years ago) My time line is in my signature.

It's so crazy how there is no consistency with those changes/updates. I see so many people getting frustrated because they think their application is stuck but apparently the officers are actually working on it, they just didn't update it. I wish they would do it more often and automatically.
I'm lucky I had everything in process after medicals but I'm super anxious and can't stop thinking about people as anxious as me that didn't have their app updated.

Just venting here, sorry!

Your DM is definitely coming girl. @gabrielasqs
Super Congrats on the good knews!!!

obrigada!!

My timeline is in the signature. Just wanted to update that my wife had her medical appt last Friday (June 29th) and we're now waiting for the GCKey/MyCIC status to change to "medical passed", so we can go to the immigration office at Pearson Airport to renew her work permit to get the restrictions removed (it's where she got her visitor visa when we landed from our honeymoon trip as someone anonymously reported her as an illegal immigrant, but thanks to that person it backfired on that she got to stay in Canada - haha). Anyway, I keep checking MyCIC every morning and night. Can't wait! So excited that we're now a bit over halfway through the process. I know it sucks that we now have to wait until at least November for SA/AIP/DM, but at least all the requests are complete and documents have been submitted.
