Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

Yea. Just keep cool, everything is in order. Am a June applicant too. Got AOR On July 14, submitted schedule A, on July 15th. And since then I haven’t heard anything from CIC. No medicals yet, but only saw on my cic profile that they started background check some weeks ago.

The waiting time is killing, but we got to stay alive through the process.

seems like you're on track now. they should start the background check shortly (if they haven't already). not all May applicants have gotten their med requests yet.

so true. I've heard ircc may refuse you if you don't manage to stay alive lol

Does anyone know what happened to the OWP's? Seems it dried up in last 3 weeks or so, I'm a late August applicant and it would have been nice to receive it before the holidays to avoid further delay!

I am an August applicant too (August 17th), and I haven't heard anything about mine. I linked it to my online account and the only thing I see about it is that it was submitted. I'm hoping both of us will hear something soon!

What happened with you? What did you have to do to fix it? I emailed CIC asking about this and they reassured me that it was a glitch but that everything was in order with my application... But now I'm worried lol

I called them twice and finally got the message sent to me to submit my pcc and schedule A after waiting for 2 months

Could someone respond me ? My question is that my visitor status will be ended by end of January and I have to leave for family visit so my OWP will be processed or not as visitor status will be ended at that time when I will be leaving from canada to family visit and I submitted my OWP application in Oct but did not get any response regarding OWP yet. Could someone lease respond me if knowledge about this question that OWP will be processed or not? Thanks guys

I believe you should wait to get your OWP first before leaving the country and make sure that you have a valid visitor visa when you come back. Read this link. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=248&top=28

I contacted CIC asking about this as my account also says Your Action is Required even after I sent in my PCC and Sched A. They assured me that all was in order with my application and that the message that action is still required is just a glitch that they are working on getting fixed... not sure why it's taking so long to fix but ya....

I also haven't been able to link my application! Do you know of any tricks to try? I've been reading through the forum and have tried a few that I've seen but still no success :/

When I link my app yesterday I left the city and country of birth blank and put 3 on the number of people in application since I have a daughter on the application then my husband who is the sponsor. Then it linked.

Ok, that seems like a different situation. It seems that you had "Your Action is Required" without knowing what you needed to do, in that case it made sense to follow up. In all other cases it still says the same message after such "action" was carried out.
