Hey Guys,

I have a question that I have received my AOR and my OWP application which I have sent it with my PR application. My Question is that I have to leave canada for visit due to family issue and I am on ETA as a Visitor by end of January as I have to leave . I heard it when someone leaves from visitor status as he is from visa exempt country so in canada his status would expire and when he comes back then his status again starts as a visitor so my question is that my Work permit will be processed after end of january? as my visitor status would be expired at end of January ? Can someone please confirm me that my OWP will be processed after end of January also as when I submitted my OWP application I was in Canada could someone please confirm me?

Could any one please reply me if have knowledge about my question ? Thanks

Hi everyone - my application was received on May 1, 2017. I received my open work permit on June 16, 2017 when it just showed up in the mail.

I have never received a correspondence from IRCC other than the original receipt of application email in May. My online account has always shown "Your Action is Required", but there is nothing further telling me what to do.

I sent in my Schedule A with my application, so I never got a request for that, and I have not received a Medical Request yet.

Has anyone else experienced these problems?? I'm starting to get anxious now...

I guess you did not receive any email because you already provided schedule A (and police certificate?).

Both of you call cic it night be a glitch and they will tell you what to do. Very important this slowed me down 2 months. You guys need to figure out what's going on

Your application will still be processed. However, if for some reason the border doesn't let you come in, they will consider that you abandoned you PR application. If you have a lawyer, discuss your options. I'm from an exempt country as well but I don't wanna take that risk.
