I am also having trouble validating my Schedule A. :( For some reason the "From" year in the second row is highlighted in red, and I keep getting a message about gaps, but there are no gaps? Tried calling CIC about this, but unfortunately the agent wasn't able to give tech help. Anyone able to help?

This is what it currently looks like:
2016-08 to now, Unemployed in Canada as visitor
2016-05 to 2016-08, Unemployed in US as citizen
2013-09 to 2016-04, Student
2013-11 to 2013-11, Employed
2013-07 to 2013-08, Unemployed
2010-07 to 2013-07, Employed

I haven't validated my form yet, but I got confused after reading this. The instruction for section 6(personal history) states you should detail everything including the time you were studying but what you're saying is that it shouldn't include the time you were a student??
The form says:
"Provide the details of your personal history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent.
Start with the most recent information. Under 'Activity Type', write your occupation or job title if you were working. If you were not working, provide information on what you were doing (for example: unemployed, studying, travelling, retired, in detention, etc.). If you were outside your country of nationality, indicate your status in that country."

In krimsuun's case, they were working the whole time they were a student, so the time they were a student was not necessary.

=> It is non sense here, if you were studying, you don't need to list that you were unemployed. Also, as the previous comments, please don't mix between Education history with Personal history.

Also, from my experience, you can try to fill by Internet Explorer, other web site browsers might cause errors...

I only listed I was unemployed when I wasn't studying. Not trying to mix between the two either, but since there was brief employment while I was a student, I'm not sure how I should be putting everything. :/ Should I be doing something like this?

2013-11 to 2016-04, Student
2013-11 to 2013-11, Employed
2013-09 to 2013-11, Student

Sorry, I'm still confused. I don't understand what you meant. But I will just drop it simply as below:
2013-9 to 2016-04, Student

Hey folks, hopefully you can help. Me with a question.

I got AOR on Nov 20 and my passport and post graduate work permit iarestill valid until may 2018.
I will get an extension of my padsport for 2 more years from my home country soon. It is a sticker that gets placed in your passport by the embassy. I already checked with CIC that it will be accepted for any legal application.

My question is, how can I update the passport information for my application? The number remains the same, the only difference is the validity.

Thanks in advance!

I got medical request and already done, do I have to upload any document for confirmation, that I already complete my medical. Please advise me, thanks.

I am a Feb 2017 applicant. Been waiting since end of June. Nothing from CIC since then. I am guessing they are going through 2016 applicants. I do see a couple of the Jan 2017 applicants who have received SA and AIP.

We just have to wait. If it goes over the 12 months timeline, then I suggest giving CIC a call, but right now they are within the 12 months.

I already complete my Medical, Do I have to upload or send any document to CIC for confirmation, please advice, thanks.

Good news is I managed to fix the issue being flagged under addresses. It is still flagging under personal history though...
I've tried everything- Ive had my boyfriend check it as well and neither of us can find a problem with it... I'm really stuck here...

I'm wondering if it is due to me taking holiday while working?
I also went on holiday while on a workign holiday visa....

I'm also wondering if it doesnt like that things overlap? for example I went to college and worked at the same time...

That is correct.

Make sure there are no gaps and fill out the information regarding your status in the country. If you were a visitor but still attended school for a few days, your status will stay as a visitor and not a student. Make sure your entries match the records of your status in each country. YOu do not have to provide the details of each single day.

I put everything in, if I went on a trip, I out them in and mentioned holiday or trip to so-and-so. When I was in school, I mentioned full time student, and working 20 hours on/off campus. I hope this helps.

No, the clinic you went to will do it all for you. I would check ECAS to see if CIC received the medical. My medical was received after 10 days, it could depend from clinic to clinic, and also on how fast CIC updated that info on ECAS.

Hello guys

i would like to share my timeline with you;
i applied to sponsor my wife in january 2017, passed medical in june and just yesterday turned decision made on ecas.
