I
Ha, yes, I also had a really hard time linking my applications - linked them Sep 25 and 26 respectively but I don't think it matters really. I sent my schedule A and PCs upfront (but not medical)
Yes. I didn't send them upfront because I wanted to submit them through MyCIC and also now I am waiting for the medical request and for the OWP of course.

It’s exactly 4 months today since June 14th I submitted my sponsorship application with OWP. Am yet to receive an information on my OWP. Since I linked it to my cic account on July 14th... anyone with same experience?

So we have an inland spousal app in for my wife, who is out of status. We never sent in an OWP application with the app as we know she isn't eligible, but was told here that once we get AIP she may beable to get an OWP....is it worth sending the app in now or just sit tight until she (hopefully) gets PR, we only recently got the first AOR so a long way off AIP.

Like to know too, I guess August applicants will have a long time yet for the medical. What is/was the normal time for a medical request from the date of AOR?
I've been told on this forum that a few months ago medical requests were sent around 120 days after the application was received. I would have been ok with it since mine was received only ~110 days ago but I've been hopeless since I found out that April applicants haven't received it yet. If we calculate starting from April 1 it's been almost 200 days.

Going to get the Schedule A in today, does that speed up the app the quicker you get it in or is it just sat on a pile until the date they give you that the Schedule A must be sent in by?
Probably sits on that huge pile in the corner, but wouldn't hurt to send it asap :p

I guess a real backlog has built up last few months, we shouldn't complain too much considering some people under the old system had to wait 2-3 years from start to finish.

I figured when they give the request for Schedule A they give you well over a month to submit it, so they probably don't even process it until the date they give you it has to be in by?

SA will come first?

Hello all,

Is there anybody who applied to common law immigration application in early 2017 and already received medical check report request???

I submitted my application in Spring (almost everything, except medical check report), and I only received the filed number, no further information anymore...

Below is my timeline:

Application sent: Mar 27, 2017
Application No email received: Apr 13, 2017

Didn't CIC change the process time for inland application to 1 year or less??

My agent told me to send other life related documents (from Apr to now) to the gov again, just to follow-up, and he said it may help...

Please share your experience:)

What I was thinking caused the backlog is that they may be focusing on all those applications that they promised to complete by December 2017 and were supposed to take years, like you said. There may be quite a bit.

I think they give you a deadline for the sake of it, since people that submitted it in April haven't heard any follow up on it. They will probably process it together with the rest of your application. I'm not quite sure why now they ask to submit that and police certificate after they receive the application since they still take a long time to look at it.

SA will come first?
I don't think so :( Like I said earlier April applicants are still waiting for medical request with no SA at all. They haven't heard anything after submitting Schedule A and PCC

Hi everyone. I know this have been asked but I am asking again because I could not find the webpage in the canada immi that explains my concern regarding police clearance - I am going 6 months here in Canada. Do I need to provide a canadian police clearance? I have no plans of living Canada until my PR sponsorship app is approved. I am in the process of obtaining pc from other countries I have lived in. Thank you!
