We've just come to find out the IEC work permits do not qualify under the implied status(which this company told us it did) so he worked a grand total of 11 days past his expiration on the advice of a awful company. We disclosed that he worked until the 31st of July included his letter of refusal and everything. What are the potential implications of this?

For this Spousal application I went through it with about 2500 fine tooth combs and this time I can guarantee that is will not be returned due to missing information. My concerns are now the above. Can anyone give any kind of insight?

You do not need to upload Canadian criminal check and fingerprints unless they requested it. I was confused as well but then figured it with help of CIC web site. I can send you a link if you want.

you need to make sure your form is up to date, as the sometimes have updated forms twice in one month. They last updated the Schedule A form in June/July so i would check that now

Hi, Got an email and letter from CIC saying that OWP is approved today. It says it will take upto six weeks.
But one thing that I am confused is that the validity date for the document is written as yesterday's date and in my online account the document is said to have expired yesterday at the same time...Dont know why it is like that?

Ha, yes, I also had a really hard time linking my applications - linked them Sep 25 and 26 respectively but I don't think it matters really. I sent my schedule A and PCs upfront (but not medical)

Thanks. I see my mistake now, we filled out Schedule A a few months back (found via google) around July time trying to keep ahead of the process knowing they would be asking for it once we had AOR, this is indeed a bit of a different form from the one they sent in the request letter we got. I have the correct form now (though also had trouble viewing it, has to be opened in Adobe reader) so will get it filled and uploaded today (assuming it can be validated!).

Just grateful for this forum and the people here, as would likely have uploaded the old Schedule A form as it was ready to go yesterday.
 
So when is the request for PCC issued, same time as Schedule A?

We all ready had a PCC for my wifes home country so we included it in the app, though it's over a year since it's issue date, but she has however been in Canada well before the date of the PCC. So thinking they will accept the PCC we have all ready sent in?
 
Any news from April applicants and their medical request? Or does anyone know to what month does the latest medical request received correspond to?

I'm a late June applicant and can't help but feel that they will never make it within 12 months if they haven't even issued medical requests to applicants from 6 months ago.

Like to know too, I guess August applicants will have a long time yet for the medical. What is/was the normal time for a medical request from the date of AOR?

Going to get the Schedule A in today, does that speed up the app the quicker you get it in or is it just sat on a pile until the date they give you that the Schedule A must be sent in by?
