Hi guys,

It has been issued for request on April 12, 2017, however, the letter of request for police and Sche A was just sent after a few months. The deadline is already passed even before I get the letter..Any experience? Thanks.

I'm sure you can still send it in even after the deadline has passed. Just let them know the reason why you didn't send it on time

Hi all,

Which is the main Police check that they want to see.... So Ive been living in Canada for 4 years and the rest in my home country... Are they asking for both or just one?

Just submit the one for your country Only. That is what they are requesting for

Hi,

I am so confused with the status on my E-cas and GC key. It showed that I have passed the medical check up. The problem is I haven't done any check up yet. I haven't received any request to do medical. My application is on process from 6 march and I haven't passed the sponsor approved stage. Is it normal?

Hi, I'm reading through a lot of pages.
I sent my application on 17th May and we still hear nothing. Now I found out people normally received a confirmation within a month, then I'm freaking out. Is there ANYONE who waits longer than one month to hear anything back from CIC?
PS. We're applying within Canada. I really hope we can get through this quickly because we'd really like to start a family. I also read through if I get pregnant before everything's done, life's gonna be so messed up. So the family life we're so much looking forward to is really depending on this application...

it could take up to 6 weeks for your AOR. processing time for 2017 inland applications are approximately 12 months. i understand your problem but all we can do is comply with cic's requests and wait. i have even lost a baby while our pr application is on process. :(

i suggest you call cic unless you had a medical exam with a dmp probably for a work, visit or student visa less than a year ago, they could have used that.

That is so sad. I'm sorry about your baby.

We sent ours in on May 19th and have not received an AOR either. We are also waiting to start our family until after this process is done too. It's so hard to wait, I know :( I will just tell you our experience and what information we received so far directly from the call center agent. You may receive different information if you get through to a different agent or your situation is different.
We got through to the CIC call center one week ago, they said we should have heard back/received an AOR by now (again, the agent's words, not mine). According to the call center agent, the Mississauga office may have "lost or misplaced it and put it in the wrong bin or under a bin or something". The call center agent said they will send an email to the Mississauga office to inquire about where our application is. According to the agent these things happen due to the large amount of applications and we should follow up in a few weeks if we don't receive the AOR. We sent an email to our MP (just so happens to be Justin Trudeau) today explaining the situation.

How long did it take for the message 'We need additional documents check messages below.' to change?
I just submitted my Schedule A and Police Certs.
We submitted our documents through Webform on June 8th and we received a notification that it was received yesterday, so a bit less than a month for us... Also myCIC was updated and it now says that the background check is in progress...

Wow! I never knew this!! I have submitted mine via Webform and have been waiting ages for them to acknowledge it! I might try see if mine comes up like this and try it that way

Thanks!

This tutorial works for 1/2 of the people, the other half never get a message on the message list or a button to upload the files. Therefore the webform is the only option.

Has anybody here submitted translations in English and French, I mean some documents in English and others in French? This question came from a friend applying from Quebec, I don't see a problem since they both are official languages and he already have translations in English. Should him translate again to French just to send it all in the same oficial language?

thank you. it was a birth defect, there was nothing we could do. we want to try again once our situation has improved and when i get the PR.
